Equality, to a certain part only on paper (constitution), killed the traditional - church - marriage. If I can manage without a husband, why would I get one?
From my experience, men expect me to take care of their household. Yes, their household, not ours. They see themselves as bread-winners and saviors and the first necessity in my life. I don't know why. I work and have my salary. I am in no need to be saved from anything. And no, I'm not interested in never-ending household mill.
I'd like to have a relationship there we are co-pilots. If that relationship ends in marriage, yes, please! Otherwise, thanks no thanks. Simple.
I'm not in isolation, just working from home, but nonetheless I discovered that I'm missing the interaction with my colleagues, the human noise around, even those people, who's presence usually annoyed me. And I am a introvert. Can't even imagine how extroverts are managing in lockdown.
However, been to work today for a long meeting in person, got a dosage of socializing with a colleague - she is a very pleasant person, whom I like to interact with - and discovered that it lifted my spirits. Good to work from home some time more :)
Been and paddled my usual route in usual time: saw ducks with ducklings and geese with goslings; a seal and then a male roe deer. And another Aleut at a distance. A lot of motorboats though. The day flew by in a breath, already longing back.
No close encounters of any kind: we are still to keep social distance :)
