RE: LET'S RING IN THE NEW YEAR TOGETHER!

Have enjoyed the last paddling of this year: 3+ hours and 11 km, now have drunk more Champagne, that I planned, am wonderfully tired and totally satisfied with the life. Will not wait for the midnight: you have a great time without me :)

Off to the bed. Happy New Year everyone!

RE: 2020 in Your Language

I used to swim in an indoor pool twice a week in winter months before 2020 (and in the sea in summer) and I hope to eventually return to that activity. Not sure, though, that it'll be 2021, not the first half anyway.

Nonetheless, my glass is half-full and I plan to paddle the first time in the new year the coming Sunday, if the weather holds :)

RE: 2020 in Your Language

It's not even close, but thanks :)

RE: Resolutions/Affirmations

Dunno what hash browns are and I don't eat fries. And I prefer my omelette freshly made, thank you. So you spare money and avoid to consume unnecessary calories: win-win.

Happy New Year!

RE: 2020 in Your Language

Paddled 390 km and 955 m during 2020. That's my year :)

RE: Kenosis

Rhymes with ketosis.

RE: How do your respond to threats?

You mean, it's the other way around?

RE: How do your respond to threats?

Why? Do aggravated women phone you in the middle of the night and breath heavily without saying a word?

Tell the truth!

RE: How do your respond to threats?

Then hike up your skirts, Dino, and run for the hills :)

RE: How do your respond to threats?

Well... if the threat comes from a gang of bandar-log, when you are returning home late and there's no one around, then yes, I might feel frightened and angry. But one-to-one, no, I wouldn't be scared.

But if you feel, that someone want to harm you in some way and it's personal and persisting, collect some evidence and go to police.

RE: Global Warming Deception

More water for paddling, choo-hoo! Good to know :)

RE: Britain gets trade Deal with the EU

If you want to avoid immigration, go pick 'em turnips yourself.

RE: Britain gets trade Deal with the EU

Thanks, Borgart, for exposing lies for what they are. I know that lies should be challenged, but I lack energy when I face a cult. Seems so meaningless. People prefer to believe propaganda: it's easier than to research facts. Their fantasy is more attractive, than the life they say around and they can always find someone to blame, when reality catches up. Or escape into another fantasy :)

RE: Britain gets trade Deal with the EU

CNN has a different view:

But you know better, of course :)

RE: Britain gets trade Deal with the EU

Sounds lovely :)

RE: Britain gets trade Deal with the EU

What did Britain gain? (Besides leaving NI behind, I mean.)

RE: Britain gets trade Deal with the EU

Brexiteers don't do reality :)

RE: Good News!!

Thanks, I will!

RE: Good News!!

The weather forecast for tomorrow is +2C and 4 m/s from North. Going to paddle :)

RE: Covid UK

Right decision: better safe, than sorry :)

RE: What did you ask Santa for this year?

Didn't ask for anything, am prepared to be surprised :)

RE: Grand conjunction Jupiter Saturn

Thanks, the same. Nice to know that the day time will begin to increase, even if with 1 min per :)

RE: .. And all that Jazz...

It can be danced:

RE: I'm due

Ain't you happy for them finding each other?

RE: Well... that about wraps it up for Christmas

The more will be left to those, who want.

RE: Well... that about wraps it up for Christmas

We are lucky that they won't vaccinate yóu.

RE: Well... that about wraps it up for Christmas

If I understand right, Christmas is when a Jewish god was born according to Christian tradition. No one can cancel it.

RE: Christmas what do you plan for?

My sentiment exactly. I'm calling weather forecast first thing in the morning and last thing in the evening. So far it's good: +2C and 4 s/m and even some sunshine :)

RE: What is your job

Oh, there's too much brain in it: we all have a change to get our share applause

RE: What is your job

Language barrier, never mind :)
