Alternative Photo Day on 1st of the Month

Well, I change my photos pretty often anyway (get fed up with looking at my mug!) and I know a lot of people that do it as well. The idea behind a certain day and a certain theme was just to bring people together and make it a fun thing for everyone to do. The sillier the better! ... Doesn't look like it going to take off anyway.

Alternative Photo Day on 1st of the Month

Ohhhhh! uh oh Well, I change mine a lot, but sometimes they do get mysteriously changed back to pictures of me! Wouldn't want to get anyone in trouble. Like you say...it would only be for 24 hours. I can't see the harm in that dunno Oh well...it was just an idea. No worries.

Alternative Photo Day on 1st of the Month

Thanks Ali wave Doesn't look as though anyone is interested though. When I suggested it last year, it was just me and few friends that did it.

RE: how important is money to you

Money becomes very important when you don't have any

Alternative Photo Day on 1st of the Month

I tried this idea out last year, and although people seemed to think it was a fun idea, I think by the time 1st month came around, most folks had forgotten about it.

But..I thought I would post again, as everyone seems to be complaining about CS being boring!

So.. why not be a rebel and change your profile photograph on 1st of every month to the following themes:

1st February: anything Yellow

1st March: anything Weather-related

1st April: Favourite drink

1st May: anything Elephant-related

1st June: anything Aeroplane-related

1st July: Favourite food

1st August: anything Toilet/Bathroom-related

1st September: anything Bird-related

1st October: anything Teapot-related

1st November: Your alter-ego (who would you like to be for the day?)

1st December: anything Retro-related

Don't forget, it's only for 24 hours (don't want to get anyone banned!)..and the funnier, the better!

Which music decade is your all time favourite?

Well... looks like at the moment 60's, 70's & 80's are in the lead! My kind of music!! cheering applause banana peace I have a sneaky feeling that it may have something to do with the main age group of people on CS!! laugh

RE: Scottish Independence

Well...politics is my pet-hate, but I must admit that I am not in favour of Scottish Independance. Like other people have said, together we are a much stronger country. When this all came up a few years ago I didn't know any Scottish folks that were in favour of it either
dunno

Which music decade is your all time favourite?

Yep...completely agree with you there. I think everybody likes music from all sorts of era's.

If you could only hear a bar from the first line of a song though, which era would you be best at in a quiz?

RE: What made you smile or laugh today "2" old one full

Hi Bestbefore wave

I wasn't able to mail you as you have me excluded geographically blues

Take a look at the "Jan's Wildlife Forum - Part Deux" if you want. Your comments were really welcome and I always enjoy reading about all the wildlife in your garden ... although it does make me a little jealous!!! frustrated frustrated roll eyes doh laugh

RE: What made you smile or laugh today "2" old one full

Seeing FOUR.....yes, FOUR robins all sitting 5' apart in my garden, and politely taking turns at flying up to the fat feeder to get a beakful of bird cake!!

Sounds nerdy I know! nerd

But professor robins are HUGELY territorial and I have ONLY ever seen two in any one place together, and they are always chasing each other and fighting! Usually it is only 1 robin per garden (or at least, that's what they want!)
