But I know what you mean. I know this sounds crazy, but when they used to use that slower drill, the vibrations down my very long and very peculiar spine, felt REALLY ticklish!!! The dentists used to think my skirming around was because I was in pain, but it was because I felt like my back was being tickled!!!!
Yep...that was one of the first ones posted ... I think it is probably my favourite ad of all time! (well, apart from the Levi 501 ads and the Diet Coke break ones )
Went to the dentist yesterday. My old dentist packed up so I didn't have one then I moved house and still didn't have one but finally got on the books of my now, local one! Yippee!
So....as I hadn't seen a dentist for about 3 years, I consequently had to have three small fillings yesterday! They are really sore just now and reacting badly to cold drinks, so I am not entirely convinced they have been done properly! I will have to see how it goes.
Anyway, they told me I could go home and eat and drink as soon as I liked. As I hadn't yet had any lunch I decided to have a tin of creamed rice, as it was nice and soft. I am quite glad that I was alone to eat it though as it was like feeding a one year old!!! The fillings were at the back of my front upper and lower teeth, so my bottom and top lips were completely numb to the extent that I couldn't even feel where they were on my face!! I was spooning the rice in, and it was just dribbling down my chin and onto my tray!!!! There was almost more coming out than going in!!! My lips felt like a couple of bicycle inner tubes!!!
On second thoughts....if that had been videoed I may have got £250 from "You've Been Framed"!!!!
Oh, I bet I am going to get a lot of dates from sharing this experience with you huh?
Yes, it is a screw in bulb, and no, I always take the plug out before doing anything like that. I did have a search on Google to see if anyone else had problems like this, and someone suggested lifting up the wee contact underneath the bulb, which i have now done, so fingers crossed! It is costing me a fortune in bulbs!!
Am getting the council out to check the socket too.
I don't think it is a snobbish thing, to not like soap operas. I am sure the actors involved are good at what they do (well, some of them anyway ). It's just that it appears to be the same old story lines over and over again, year in, year out! And certainly the British ones just seem to dwell on the negative aspects of the human psyche all the time!! jealously, anger, spite, violence, affairs etc etc etc! There is enough of all of this on the news programs every day, and in real life, so why would anyone choose to put themselves through hours of watching all of what's wrong with society on soap operas I just don't get it
