Yes, you must have a good job, otherwise forget it. They really judge a person on this. They dont realize or dont care, that life is unfair and you could be much more intelligent than the guy who tricked his way to the top, and boots you out. He could be a simple minded idiot, and have the top job, and you have to settle for a meaningless job and life, and accept being judged for it, and still have a smile. I think thats why, the so called nice guy once upon a time, turns out to be a bitter twisted ashole later on in life because of this. The pictures of couples look fine or group shots, however they should write something on them, its those ones that you can just see someone on the side of them makes me think...why? Yes, dating is not unlike job finding...
The only "cv" that really works is a current one, easier to get a job while employed than not, likewise, a large gap in the relationship cv begs the question, "whats wrong here?"...
Luckily, I really have passed on wanting to be involved in a relationship, having come to terms with who I am and what i want from life, but your comments are indeed food for thought for those in the "middle ground" and hoping there is a further shot at love or companionship...
