Hmm, I prefer older, 5-15 years. But mostly because of maturity and confidence. The bed thing is not absolute nor is the going dutch thing. Then again, I never look at a date as a free meal. If it's just for food, I would much rather go to my favorite place and enjoy it myself. I have always given my date the option of me paying for some or half of it, but that's usually because I don't like him ha, but coffee and tea instead of a meal is always a better choice in my eyes anyway. I have never believed in paying for an expensive meal just to get to know someone. That can come down the road. Nor should women have to doll themselves up. First impression are important, but so is self worth lol!

Im from Auckland and def recommend you check it out. Its surprisingly diverse in culture with many influences from the different nationalities that make up the population of Auckland.

Be sure to check out as much as you can about the Maori people. Thats the native people of New Zealand, and who I am. I recommend you watch a couple of movies from New Zealand before you go too. Once Were Warriors is a great movie(lol), Boy The Movie is funny, Two Cars One Night is a short story you can search on youtube, The Strength of Water is another good movie, so too is The Whale Rider. Highly recommend you watch them all.

I hope you like reggae because music is pretty big in Auckland. We love listening to our own artists in NZ and we just love, love love music.

Best advise of all is have fun. Kiwis are very accommodating if you put yourself out there. We're always up for a laugh, a good time and a story or two.

Good luck with your list of 10. I hope you make it to Auckland someday. :)

P.S. I used to live in Brisbane, Australia and spent some crazy, messy times on the gold Coast. lol. You'll love it there!!!

Great list,all deserving.Personally I would have had Jeff Beck,Hendrix(he did change the era),Duane Allman(taught Clapton to play slide),Buddy Guy,Page,Carlos Santana,Clapton,Eric Johnson,Mr.B.B.& Stevie Ray.In no set order.
