Anyone ever heard

of Freddie Pargetter? He got arrested at a friend of the family's stag party for the possession of drugs. In an added twist, it was the friend of the family who arrested him, he's a police officer. Now, 19 year old Freddie is waiting to find out if he'll be going to prison.

Just a few months ago young Freddie was a carefree college student from a respectable, some would say privileged, family who thought it would be a lark to make a bit of extra cash by selling a few tablets on the campus. His advantaged background more or less assured him of a bright and prosperous future, but now, that future is looking increasingly darker. You phucking idiot, Freddie.

Do the crime do the time
I'm afraid so, emmy.
He won't do time just a smack on the wrist and told not to do it again.
I heard a man on the radio once was talking about crime stoppers, when he got to the part do the crime you Wil do the time, he got it mixed up and said you do the time you do the crime. laugh

emmy I laugh now every time I hear that. rolling on the floor laughing
There's some inside information going round that says that won't be the case, emmy. It looks like he is to be made an example of.
Do I sense some kind of personal... well, interest in the fate of this not known to anyone Freddy?

Sure there are worst crimes, committed and left unpunished. Small fish, eh?
That will make a change
Not so unknown, tule, there is quite a lot of interest in the outcome of this.
OK, I trust your judgement. Will you update us on the outcome?
Yes I will, Tule, watch this space.
If only Ellis had kept his gob shut.

Hello there, Z. wave
Looks like Freddie got into the wrong line of work.....wave
inter sting, but i would think there would be a statute of limitations on drug dealing. He must live in the wrong place
He'll certainly be living in the wrong place for at least the next six months, marlin.
Thanks for the update harble, feel sorry for the mother.
Is this breaking news...
Why deal if the family is wealthy? To cut down supply to feed a habit. Or socially, to try to fit in with the "cool" crowd.
The judge made that very point, VK. Said he was from a privileged background and didn't act out of the need for the money, but rather, he did it simply because he could. That's what got him the custodial sentence.
The sentence was announced on Friday, bluesky.
