Lost opportunities...bucket lists.

Helped a fellow sailor install an amateur radio/single side band radio/back rig antenna on his 34 foot sloop here a decade ago. He was bound for the Med. by way of Nova Scotiia and the Azores. Chickend out on his offer to join in the crossing. Rationalized the presence of young twins, etc. But kept in touch via short wave daily, and relayed the info to his wife by phone in her home in Bethel, Alaska. Vicarious travel. Regret it to this day. Bucket lists. Carpe diem.

Midland makes a good GMS radio good for 50 mile range. Micro 40 watt. Way up north Snowmobile land I could get lost. Where it blows snow for miles.

IW. No worries. I'm renting out mine for two cents American. But hurry soon, as it gets shorter almost daily, and soon will contain only two items. Breathing, and sitting on the John---both without assistance.
Stringman---see the note to IW. Serious carpe diem think.
Ah, Biff. A wise woman indeed. One gets more flies with honey than vinegar. I'm trying.
You wouldn't be having regrets if the wreckage of his boat washed up on the shores of Greenland.
No worries, then, O D. The fast flowing runoff from climate change melting glaciers will keep him away from any lee shore.
