An arists blog.
I've had a couple of attempts at writing blogs before but no one read them, but while I'm here I may as well give it a try. I've been a photographer for over 30 years but never as a full time job, just the odd wedding and model portfolio shoot but in 2017 after doing a course on digital photoart, where your work achieved praise if it looked painterly, I thought, well, why not just paint?I last did painting when I was in secondary school which I left in 1971 at the age of 16. I was now 62 when I started and had to reach myself from scratch, so I'm going to show what I hope has been some progress. I'm including a link to a drawing I did called "Ugly Man." As I don't know yet how this will work. I will have to wait and see.

I did get to open the drawing. I just have a question that's confusing me.
It says it's a painting drawn by someone who died in 1955.
I'd like to do a bit of photographie myself, sort of don't where to start with it... i would be into doing adventure and sports photographie, got any tips on cameras for motorsports 17th ?
By the way the pic is good done in charcoal ???
