I've never had any desire to talk about religion or politics

And now it seems that so many in these forums, blogs, and the world in general want to shove their point of view in your face without tolerance or respect for others. It's precisely why I despise discussing those two subjects.

Am I an anachronism? Is it still possible to banter and have fun without politics and religion entering the discussion? dunno

@Cranky, those are the two subjects that can keep a conversation going for a long time.

People don't want to hear about other people's problems. Those topics drain the listeners.

Hey Hey!! Having pizza tonight from our favorite place in town! Just a local place that done good. Started out as a little hole in the wall. Only pick-up or delivery. That was like 50 years ago. Now they have 5 or 6 locations.Any time we have a family "event" that's where we go. Tonight - a "special" sausage, peppers, onions and mushrooms and ask for it well done. The crust is a bit crisper and the cheese nice and bubbly. Add a nice "hot" salad - lettuce, tomato, red onion and yellow peppers topped with shards of parmesean and your choice of italian sausage, chicken or shrimp and dress it with spicy giardinara - oh my - just may have to crack open a beer myself laugh Oh yeah I forgot - there's them there chicken wings too! cheers
