and your biscuit money stolen often.
And thanks for saving me from going to bed feeling neglected.

Been there myself and it does not feel good I know, so see you in the morning with a big smile okay?
Herby always remember if no one loves you, Jesus does
What a nice surprise it was when I looked at my blog, first thing this morning, and saw that I had a reply from you. It just goes to show what can happen when one complains of not getting enough attention. Be careful what you wish for, as they say.
I appreciate your message about Jesus, and hope that he loves me enough to intervene on my behalf, should I find myself in difficulty in the near future.
Got to thinking about it once. Mom told me about when I was a toddler. My mom, dad and I were down on the river. We on shore, dad out in the water. I wouldn't take no for an answer and kept wanting to run out by dad. He finally told mom, he was on the edge of a break, right there and to let me go.
I ran out and when I got to him, he ordered STOP! I ignored him and kept going, Off the break I went. He let me go completely under, grabbed my hair and yanked me back up.
Mom said when I came up, water running out of my mouth, nose and all, I wasn't crying. I was totally mad. She said I was slapping at the water, yelling, BAD WATER! BAD WATER!
Dad carried me back to shore and said NOW! When I or mom says NO or STOP, you listen!
It was a lesson learned.
I wonder now, if that is not what put it in my mind to hate water?

Made me probably too trusting and too open in some occasions, but I learned pretty quickly. Wouldn't wanted it any other way and know how lucky I was.
Childhood is the foundation for a lot of things, one of them to go out and do and see things differently to when we grow up.
Not what you were looking for but just my 2 cents worth Harby.
As for that incident in the river being the cause, who can say.
