Ahh just love the holidays.....
Here in the USA, we have Thanksgiving coming up soon, though most from across the globe already know this. ..definitely a feast will be had with family and friends. Some holidays here, though may be familiarizedelsewhere as well, actually pertain to our own country's history, such as Thanksgiving (and yes, I'm aware there are two sides to this coin), Fourth of July/Independence Day, (and not so popular elsewhere...Memorial Day, President's Day,) and so on...Just curious, though, ....and I know this can simply be googled, but I think it's more enjoyable to hear it from others, along with their own family traditions....but maybe some can enlighten me to holidays that are celebrated in other countries that wouldn't necessarily be celebrated in other parts of the world. ...and what can ya tell me about the holiday....how it's celebrated...what it originates from...etc. I'm simple and love to learn about stuff like this
