i donot.... understand

why people are thinking
skype is better?

WhatsApp is an easy way to keep in touch with friends and family, but it still relies on the same contacts list that your phone uses for old-school calls and SMS messaging.

message, voice call, video call
24/7.

have problem with someone?

Block the user so they cannot contact you anymore.

i like whatsapp... wine

WhatsApp is more reliable and you can see from which country the person is calling you if you just met him or her online.

Someone introduced me to SIGNAL app that's private. The only part I don't like is they don't make a desktop version.

What about Zoom?

I like WhatsApp for texting and audio messages and phone calls.
But not the cam!

When video calling, Skype is certainly better, as it can be done on a laptop, with a bigger screen, and better quality.

They are the only one, beside Jitsi, that is open-source, well, at least sort of. I met one of the prime developers on here. She was quite a nice and intelligent lady. That's why she isn't here anymore, I suspect.
