WOW! Karma or Kismet? Maybe both...

Man Who Spent his Life Helping Disabled People Find a Home Has Won a £2.5million Country House in a Raffle

Grant Carson scooped up the five-bedroom farmhouse complete with eight acres of the Lake District after entering the Omaze Million Pound House Draw. The 58-year-old widower said that he can now get a dog, which was what he always wanted, but was always out of the question due to chronic arthritis he has had since he was seven.

Carson worked at the same Glasgow charity for 27 years helping disabled people with all aspects of life, and had never won anything before. He was understandably stunned when the Omaze team surprised him at his three-bedroom home in Glasgow. ”It’s not your average Friday night that someone comes to your door and tells you that you’ve won a £2,500,000 house,” said Carson. “I might be one of the luckiest men in Scotland.”

I think that's an awesome blessing that he got for being a blessing to others in need!!!wine

I wonder if this man will live alone very long, I mean take in other homeless or?
Glad it did, Jenny. Good news like this is always so refreshing.

As for his plans going forward, the article stated that he started a consultancy to continue to help them (after retirement), so maybe the house could be used in that capacity in his future plans. Who knows?dunno
