Future foods for climate change.

I have finished watching a few videos on climate change and the overall future, in particularly on the foods that are suggested for humans to eat.
Obviously we are to eat less meat and have a greener healthier diet. I am vegetarian so that part doesn't bother me at all, due to all the great positive benefits I have physically gotten from being vegetarian along with fasting daily. I did see at the end of one of these videos, a great portion of the future foods featured bugs for consumption. I don't know how others feel about it, on one hand it's possibly for helping the climate, and the other it's sounds maybe a little too much for the average person to go along with.

@ten of Now that is weird logic. Are you promoting CO2 production so we can have trees? On the face of it your logic is upside down. Both China and India have invested in planting and greening - that is consuming and converting CO2, in counterpoint to the denuding of the Amazon and forests of Indonesia. India and China together 1/3rd the world's population, so it is unsurprising they are the largest producers of CO2, but they are together a significant part of the effort to reduce the emissions.
My logic is called "this is how nature works".
Pollution by plastic and other waste is the problem, not the CO2 emissions.
Recycling is a big lie, 80% of the recyclable waste isn't actually recyclable. Proof is everywhere if one wants to find it.
Here, have a look, everyone quotes NASA, there you go, the answers:

Interestingly enough that greening is less a product of greenhouse gases or planting trees, but a by-product of the intensive farming that would have happened anyway. This counter to climate change is primarily a happy coincidence, not a plan nothing we consciously meant to happen. I suppose it's more like the immune system the way that life tries to find a balance with its environment, no schemes.
@ten of: you tried to present the greening of China and India as a bad thing. That is not what the NASA report says, is it?

Then you slip away to quite another topic - also known as 'evading the question'. From greening and CO2 to recycling... In a debate sneakiness wins no points.
Did I? Where did you see me saying it's a bad thing?
It's great for the nature, as we all (hopefully) know CO2 is vital for photosynthesis which produces oxygen...
And again, you chose to presume...
I didn't just escaped the topic by moving to recycling as it is closely related to the real problem, waste pollution.
You didn't watch the video obviously, otherwise you wouldn't say what you said.
Everything is connected.
Obviously there is a CO2 problem, otherwise glaciers would not be melting at record rates (amongst many other indicators)....denial may be (for some) a fun game to play, but it does not accord with the reality of the scientific data.

Rather like someone claiming that the Earth can support 15 billion (or more) people. Also wishful thinking (based on a fallacy)....
No problem with that lol, although I very much appreciated and enjoyed reading the arguments of both sides within this discussion.
To answer your question, yes I do water fast weekly. I am on my eighth day straight actually. I usually go only three to four days per week water fasting. I was having a bad time, the past couple weeks, and just felt like water fasting longer, I guess Im not really feeling like cooking or eating just yet. But anyway, I drink near six ounces of water daily and feel physically fine and have heard of great benefits physically from fasting.
Cups...

You seem to think you have the only opinion that counts or is correct...speaking about your posts here and regarding your comments on the forums...

Instead why don't you agree to disagree...you seem to like arguing more...your sarcasm is noted... see your comment above...not so mature is it...rather smug and dismissive...dunno

I provided enough of professional reasoning why climate change is of natural origin.
You and Fargo don't seem to like what people who know better say (not me but my sources ).
As I mention few times already the problem is waste pollution not the human contribution to CO2 levels.
We ARE too insignificant to be able to do that on worldwide scale. There are few overpolluted places which don't make the whole planet. Do they?
The doom and gloom caused by humans is a lie.
Geological and astronomical natural causes are in the works here, it's beyond me why can't people see it.
Won't hurt to watch the video I provided, then you can have a better argument.
Otherwise you just repeat yourself on a personal level.
handshake
If I were the witch from Hansel & Gretel I'd have you caged, for fattening purpose at this stage because YES, you do look too thin but NO, I'm only mentioning Anorexia because of what you SAID.
Going days without eating is not healthy.

For your height you should be 101-123, you're saying your 90...
another 3lbs and you're a stone UNDER weight doh

Perhaps your not Anorexia but if you continue as you are going, you will be....
Don't mean to be nagging you, but I'm for your own good comfort

Having said that, I'm off out for my steak, fried onions and mushrooms ...
delish very happy
Cups...

If you didn't want to be perceived as such...you should have been more careful on what you posted...have a nice day...wine
I honestly disagree with you about looking too thin, I hear it alot yes but, I'm sure there are many other men and women who are just as slim as me if not more so. Especially them being around my weight, it's probably just due to their height, they wouldn't be.
Anorexia I think is entirely different level then me and my body, like I said before though, I really don't know much about Anorexia at all. And when I go the amount of days fasting I only have the side effects of getting dizzy or getting cramps or obviously a feeling of being very weak physically.
I believe though that height plays a bigger part for me, being almost 5'1 my weight would be much less then the average person. And the weight you mentioned I really don't know, 123 pounds seems like alot for me, because I have been at times around 85 pounds after fasting and felt alright.
Have it your way because I've no intentions of mothering you ...
yet I could not let it go unsaid without cautioning you, to where you're heading.

Actually, I find it hard to believe you're not aware of the disease...
Anyways .. to your health wine
and feeling on top of the world.

sad flower
8 Billion + people are "too insignificant" are they?

confused
10 of cupss

THIS is "too insignificant" is it???

You have absolutely no idea, about the magnitude of large numbers...
Actually, I suspect that you would have extreme difficulty envisioning a number over 1000 (say)....
