Parapsychology.
WARNING: THIS IS NOT A RELIGION SO DON"T WORRY :p.Please vote on my polls, if I get enough votes, I may be able to give an appropriate statistic of believers vs skeptics on my paper.
I am someone really interested in Parapsychology, about it's doctrine and controversial papers that comes out from time to time.
I'm am also doing a little survey(hope it works) to include in my project due in a month.
So in this blog I am just doing an intro on what Parapsychology is, I'm sure many of you will treat this as religion and discard it, IT IS NOT, in fact as strange as it appears it fall under the category of scientific investigation.
So here goes:
Parapsychology is the study of acclaimed paranormal events using empirical data record and statistics in most cases.
It has been present for over 100 years, but still hasn't been able to completely break through in the modern science institution, the reason are various, but not unlike some will say "cause it's all bull. . .".
Two modern example of such research will be:
1. Premonition.
Premonition is a way of knowing something is knowing something will happen without any prior information regarding the something in question.
To simply put, like you feeling a feeling that something is wrong and a few moment later, IT IS.
Tests have been carried out by pr. Dean Radin, Institute of Noetic Science, via random image generator and reflex output of the human body.
He discovered that people in some way or another(dunno how) react to a stimuli that happen randomly, seconds before any sign of the stimuli is perceivable.

2. Near Death Experience.
Just as the name say, someone is clinically dead, then he is revived, but somehow he had seemingly a kind of experience during the dead period.
I'm sure you've seen in movies, you know, when you are dead and you see a bright light at the end of a long tunnel.
Ok let's go back to the actual data acquired by many experimenter, it's too long to put them all so i'll just put a link for the short story:
I have to admit that it is quite controversial, but I consider myself quite an open-minded person.(Yeah like everyone else on the planet
!). There are a lot of hole sin the mater that has to be discussed, I hope that it lead somewhere cause I am a big fan of such debates.(Imagine a world where the mind and the body are different and everyone is aware of this. . .)I admit that there is no definite protocol that can explain this kind of behavior, but it might be just like all new science.
We need to get bashed by the opposition to established more solid roots in the theory and understanding of the effects and cause.
I dedicate this post to everyone who has lost someone important to them, and who hope(or want to hope) that one day you will meet again

Thanks for the blunt response.
The explanation that made sense to me about all of this is that our collective consciousness knows things far beyond what our normal ego can process, and this information is stored in our subconscious. So, in essecense we are already all-knowing, and we just have to move our ego aside to be able to get more in tune with these abilities. I think everyone has psychic ability to an extent, its just a matter of how in touch you are with it.
For example, one time I had a precognitive dream about an language that I had no knowledge of, but it wasnt your typical dream...it was almost as if this knowledge was being "shown" to me or infused....like somehow I was absorbing information that was far beyond the scope of what I already knew. (This was is hard to explain in writing, I'd have to think about it more, but it did indeed scare me to the core)
On another occasion, I had an odd dream that I was driving with my best friend and her parents to look at a house. But we stopped at the end of the driveway. I recall what the house looked like, down to the color, the yard, the mailbox, the surrounding trees and shrubs. Five years later, I happened to take a random trip with one of my other friends and lo and behold, there was the house from my dream. In a city I had never visited before in my life, except in my dream. It was really eerie.
Anyway, those are just two examples that pop into my mind.....good blog, I always find this type of stuff very interesting

You know, a little secret, I failed English language in grade 10(I think I'm gonna get bashed by other users who will read this comment :(!!!!).
So you saying that you are being confused make me think more like "Argghhh!!! Why isn't my English improving?" :p!!
Faith for me is a very hard thing to achieve. It became even more because of my hobby of engaging into debates.
So I am really pleased when I see people like you who are pure by nature(It really "IS" a compliment :p)!

Also, I have some other information I can share with you that might help your studies, except, if I send it privately you might post it all for the world to see hehe!

But I like it :p! At least it has a different tone from the constant bashing that I get.
I never publish confidential information.
Though I do put reference on certain points(If they are not deemed confidential).
If you give me your opinions on something, I will most likely reference it to the appropriate subject.
If if you tell me that you have this kind of medical problem or bla! bla! bla!
Then even if someone give me $1000000. My lips are sealed.
Cause divulging specific problems such as "this guy has cancer" will be significant to his privacy.
Where as saying " This guy was hurt, he told me this in an email" and then the others ask you for the email as proof, you look at the content and you think, "oh there is nothing that is deemed confidential at all to my standards" so you do and for me it's not wrong at all. Of course we all have a personal level of judgment.
I respect people privacy, well! not everyone is my own but I respect privacy :p.
I tend to weight the impact and confidentiality level of the person according to his/her own choice or, if not present, according to his/her personality.
But this is a different topic on someone's level of acceptance of what is private and confidential.
I kinda understand why it is forbidden to post Emails.
We would have to argue each and every time to what is significant to being confidential and personal to that particular person.
So we just have not to post anything.
I learned my lesson, it hurt my pride but I learned than on this specific website, where we share the service, the rules being made is absolute, independent of what I might think is the case.
And this will remain the case if I want to continue sharing it's services.
