A bit of advice from you girls

I'll set the scene: you're in a Mc Donalds or at the bus stop (somewhere mundane like that), a pretty girl makes eye contact, maybe smiles a bit, your heart goes a flutter and you're wondering what the catch is. She does it maybe a second or third time. There are signs but it's not certain. There are other explanations. She could be looking at someone behind you or just thinking of something funny she heard the day before. Where does a guy go from there?

I'm not shy or awkward but I'm definitely not about to go chatting up a stranger. Is there a way to handle this situation without her thinking I'm a wierdo or a crazy person who likes to talk to people on the street?

Ladies, lay the knowledge on me!

Get near her.. compliment her. Maybe her hair, eyes, something like that. I would talk to a stranger if they gave me a compliment. See, I am not shy at all though and would talk to anyone.. Is there someone else that can suggest something else?

Say hi and just be yourself. You can be polite without seeming like a weirdo. If you are someplace like McDonalds or the bus stop, consider letting her on the bus or letting her order ahead of you. Compliment her outfit and her smile...just be a gentleman. These simple things say a lot about you. Best of luck! handshake

What's wrong with chatting it up with a stranger? You are doing it here.dunno if you are friendly and have the intention of being non threatening, I'm sure everything would work out just fine. What if she was trying to give you the hint to talk to her and you missed out because you were thinking too much? I think we all take ourselves and these situations much too seriously. Just have fun! What's the worst that could happen? What's the best that could happen? beer

yea brainyack is different, not the same. in your face firebrand with the pay stubs posted, seems a little more humble somehow, i wonder, maybe he will revert to type soon lets hope so he was more entertaining the old way.

I think you had it easy, and then got all caught up in trying to figure out too much into it and lost your chance with her.
