when things become stressful it happens to me .
thats sorta sad if you dont know who you are, i guess soul searching and understanding your own core of self being might help, but eveyone should know who they are, the question i always ask, do you know where you are going?dunno

Hi John, the feeling you describe is a defence mechanism of your mind's to protect you from stress, and it can be really useful if you go with it. It dissociates you from the immidiate situation and your problems, and allows you, if you use it, to observe yourself and your environment objectively. You can achieve the same kind of state through meditation. The question about who you actually are is a bit of a mother. Just remember, you are always the one watching.
