Tiger Woods attacked his wife with a golf club. She rang the police & they found him fast asleep on a neighbors lawn when they arrived. He had been taking Ambien, also known as Zolpidem. So, if you take this drug, be careful, especially if you mix it with other medications or alcohol. It can be very dangerous. I got several bad concussions from falling while asleep on Ambien.
Also, people have inherited sleep disorders. I am a chronic insomniac. Once, I passed by my son's bedroom door & found him standing next to his bed. I asked him what he was doing. His eyes were open & he answered me, then got back into bed. When I asked him about it the next day, he didn't remember a thing. He was on NO medications. He also frequently talked in his sleep, as did my ex husband. Neither one remembered anything the next day about what they had done.
