Can a boy and a girl be best friends?

Hello!

It's time for another topic to discuss.

This is one of them most controversial and yet very simple topic.

Can a boy and a girl be best friends? I am not just saying friends but best friends. They share secrets with each other, care for each other, understand each other. It's believed that throughout their lifetime, one day or the other, they will fall for each other or the one will fall for the other.

They can def. be best friends, but ppl start seeing them as girlfriend/boyfriend, as if something going between them...

I think it depends on everybody point of view, and how they view them...

I believe they can,, in fact ,, my best friend is male,, hug We know each others darkest secrets,, shared each others happiness & sadness, moping BUT,, scold never would we be linked romantically,, we both need/want different things from life,, joy cartwheel hole

This is a fairly pointless question, or maybe its just very badly written. Is it not the case that millions, possibly billions of "girls and boys" are best friends and married to each other?
Yeah, really controversial.....you are out on the edges bruv.

nope, she was into this other guy lol, but she was my neighbor, we hung out all the time, i mean she was OBSESSED with this other guy, we still hung out, did alot of the same things before we even met, thats what started the friendship, today we dont talk at all. Dated her for 4 yrs. So that doesnt work.
