I want to be ten today

I woke up this morning wanting to be a ten year old boy again. This is a time I remember to be completely free of stress, my only worry being things like did my cubbie house fall down over night, are the tadpoles I caught and put in my sisters money jar still alive, will my sister believe the tadpoles ate her money and does Julie Stevens like tadpoles and half eaten candy.

Ah, good times.

Do you have an age you remember fondly, whether it be as a child or older?

Yeah, but not a particular age. When I was young I was thinking that I was gonna be rich and famous someday! And that I was going to be a Latino Harlem Globetrotter!!!
Anything seemed possible, didn't it Ed?
Sure did!! I was just too confident to want to quit so I practiced and I practiced and I practiced!! hee hee I never gave it a second thought that I was slow, short and couldn't really play. But it was fun trying!
I thoroughly enjoyed my teens . . . would I want to go back there again? ? ?

Only if you promise that I can stay there and not have to relive the rest of the ?&#@$# in my life again . . .

NOOO! ! !
No can do . . . too many good things happened in between as well.cheering yay peace

I remember being a child & no particular time....carefree, adventurous, eploring lifes anything, no bills, no work except for chores & homework laugh . And playing outdoors & not wanting to come in...etc.

But I did volunteer with pediatrics in a hospital. Even tho they were sick they just wanted to be kids & play. They didn't focus on their sickness they just wanted to play & live. But with adults & seniors (some) they focus on their ailments & not on life.

My fondest memories are of moments that stick out. They are sometimes the silliest or creativity. But one moment sticks out....planting a tree with my dad I got from school & seeing that tree still there when I went back a few years ago.
Great for you Hammockman cool thumbs up

for me not, I would not enjoy being 10 again... I was expected to be still the best at school and my parents and teachers stessed me with their expectations. I was not able to protect myself and I thought, I had to work hard to make happy all. I relaxed just at grandparents, they loved me because of me ...laugh
It took me couple of years to realise I study hard because I want to, and it has been an enjoyment for me as well.
No, I am happier today... angel
Hi Ham wave
I wish I could say the same of aga 10 but I have no fond memories of childhood whatsoever. Basically anything before age 29 was quite bad blues
So, I pick 30... I lived in New Zealand at that time and treasure some of the best memories (as well as life experiences) I have of that time.
I do believe things will still get better... before I turn into a grumpy old lady - oh wait, too late already grin
wine
A lot of memories of my childhood, and I treasure them all, good and not so good.
Hammockman, have fond memories of that stage of life must be great, the only good memory I have, is that my father could not give me more beatings, because I was finally taller than him. drinking
Got a bit side tracked yesterday, sorry. Not much of a host, innit?
