Herein lies the age old problem. People have different visions and expectations as to what love is.
Some expect poetry in motion,a never ending honeymoon.
Others see it merely as a convenient arrangement.

What happens when you have 2 different visions? Well the average marriage here in Canada lasts only 7 years.
Also 54% of all marriages here ends up in divorce so not many get married here anymore.

In order for the thing to work,one has to give in and submit. Having 2 captains on a ship produces anarchy. So in reality one is miserable,the other satisfied.
Stupid arrangement......I'll remain a bachelor and keep on feeding the strays. The kittycats do come around on occassion.

Crystal, it made me chuckle your calling Gordonski the "captain". Many years ago I worked for this couple that had an African grey parrot. The woman called her husband the captain and she would greet him that way! The bird picked it up and he would call the husband "captain" every time he entered the room! It was so funny!
