What a fascinating blog, and what a coincidence, my week 4 lecture we are going to study Shinto so now I know there are many festivals surrounding Shinto. I wish I could come and see some of the festivals and try the food, all we get in Australia is sushi and sashimi. Ok, I better get back to my studies. You are so lucky to live in a country where tradition plays an important part of your life. Cheers.
Hello Josef,

Welcome to my blog young man.
Have you practicing your English lectures so well? You must put your heart in it first. So that it will be easy for you to learn it. In talking/speech, writing and spelling. Read more and practice your pronunciations. Good luck then. Thanks for being around.

Thanks for sharing on the richness and beauty of your culture. You are very informative in describing the customs, traditions, and activities that take place in the festivals.

I would like to ask you a question, if I may? Do you hold to the beliefs of Shinto? For you seem to have a vast knowledge of it's philosophy. Hope you don't mind me asking?

God bless! teddybear
My Dear Serendipity,

A bright day to you my friend.
Yes, of course. And that is a very good question.
Tradition, Culture, Religion or Beliefs... These 3 aspects are always be hand on hand. And most of the time can caused misunderstanding. In my case, I do respect the kind of Religious belief what the Japanese have. But my Faith is good only to one God that I believed. Perhaps we believed in the same God. The only difference is.... The manner of expressing that belief nor faith.
I am not much in Religion; the most important for me is FAITH!
But I do had respect for any kind of religion. " Many has been called, but very few was choosen"

If you still had a question Sir, please feel free to asked.

Yours,
Crystal
