SPEAKING OF SALSA!!!
A finest day to all, Let's get Loud!!!Get ready to salsa! Lady Salsa, the Cuban music dance spectacular which explores the history of the Cuban revolution through music and dance.
Since its emergence in the mid-1960's, salsa has achieved Worldwide popularity, attracting performers and audiences from Rio de Janeiro to Japan. The usage of "salsa" for danceable Latin music can be traced back to 1933 when Cuban song composer Ignacio Piñero wrote Enchale Salseta, from which he was "inspired" after tasting food which lacked Cuban spices.
The song was protest against tasteless food. And from there, the word caught on.
Music began being labeled as salsa, and as Piñero says, "It was a spicing up of the music. You know exciting!"
When she sings she gets the whole audience on their feet dancing and cheering, and when you dance with her you are dancing with her memories of Cuba. It is as if she is the heartbeat of the music-as ancient as Cuba's crumbling colonial palaces but as infectious as the sound of every jumping Havana street.
"Let's join and swing our body!
Let's Salsa!!!"
Have an energetic days to all.

It's been long days not seeing you around sir. Well, of course sir...
Shall we...dance? Focus, and get ready to hit the bit.

Sorry, just had to. The blog about salsa is wonderful and a good one. Thank you for sharing. I love to dance, but need to wake up some first... Then in the afternoon and evening I can dance. It is very cold here today, minus 21C and minus 4F outside. Brrr!
I'm gonna go see my grandkids today. Hope your Sunday will be a good one. Take care.
With love and respect. Welela.
Hi! It's so cold morning out there.
But my heart is very warmed to comfort you.
Actually, I never dance that gracefully... I prepared Rumba
Rather than Salsa.
Anyway, just take your time to warmed up... Then, shake your body a little... Sort of exercise.
Regards to your grand kids; enjoyed with family. The way I'm doing now. My respect and love will be yours too.
Hugs & Kisses,
Crystal
Just look around there... If there's no one who can dance with you... Just move your body, shake your body.... You can do it even by yourself. Hehehe!
Till then.
Hugs,
Crystal
