On a serious note Freedom of information request.
Can anyone tell me the procedure for obtainingAll voice and written records from my mobile provider in relation to an on going problem. They are very vague in their answers and when I ask them I just get passed from one department to the next.
Its very frustrating.

We also have an Ombudsman (dispute handler) who we can complain to if we are not happy with the service we are being provided or not handling our complaints in a decent way/manner.
Hope this helps Non.
I cant afford them and wouldnt use them. No point in getting them
sometimes @ 30 - 40 kb like being back in 1996.
As for the telecoms company's
I think I know were the Mafia went
By law, all these companies must have conversations with clients recorded. so if you can remember the dates you spoke to them - you can request the records. If you are going to take action against the company, I doubt they will make them available to you. So, you may need a lawyer! Best of luck!
Like Elmo said in SA most big companies have their client-staff calls recorded .... Inform you before hand that the call will be recorded ....
But if you don't have that facility ..... The best would be for you to get a "customer service" email address and write to them ..... Nothing is better than a written confirmation plus you could also escalate those written correspondence to someone higher if you don't get the issue sorted out .......
Saggi Well thanks for the song
Nessa Yeah It seems you have to make these requests in writing but they wont give me the department To correspond with so I guess I will have to write them all.
They sure dont make it easy.
