Can anyone tell me the procedure for obtaining
All voice and written records from my mobile provider in relation to an on going problem. They are very vague in their answers and when I ask them I just get passed from one department to the next.
Its very frustrating.

no not me ...........I'm no help at all banana
Thanks for the help Virgo confused
I'm guessing there may be different laws for different countries, but here in the Land down Under, all calls made to phone/Internet providers are recorded unless the customer asks for it not to be.
We also have an Ombudsman (dispute handler) who we can complain to if we are not happy with the service we are being provided or not handling our complaints in a decent way/manner.
Hope this helps Non.handshake
Thanks simmo will try Ombudsman (dispute handler) route and see will it bring results. thumbs up
so whats happened ..... someone hacking into your internet account ? wave
No its all to do with a data cap I asked to be put in place so as not to over spend on my account. 3 times I asked for it and they said it was in place and each time my data went over its allowance.
confused dunno
its rigged to do that , so they make more money , had the same prolem ....changed plans , to a bigger data plan 40 gigs of data ...
my computer has a multi core cpu and 64 bit vista ultimate , I can run 2 video cards , but I dont , because of the amount of data that gets used if you have a big video card or 2 of them is huge ...and I'm not joking , When I found this out by mistake and got a $531 dollor bill instead of $70 per month ...so I'm runing one ....ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT card , the smallest in the high def, cards and less data usage ....banana banana
All those land line bundle deals are to expensive over here.
I cant afford them and wouldnt use them. No point in getting them thumbs down

1 dollar = E0.80c
Non..wave All cellular companies make their bucks on what we term here (SA) as OOBE rates...Very simply, if you have a 3GB monthly contract & it expires on 25th - for the remaining 5-6 days, you pay the full prime price per MB. They (cellular companies don't tell clients this), unless you have itemized billing (per sec) & can access usage records over the net.

By law, all these companies must have conversations with clients recorded. so if you can remember the dates you spoke to them - you can request the records. If you are going to take action against the company, I doubt they will make them available to you. So, you may need a lawyer! Best of luck!handshake cheers
Thanks Elmo. thumbs up
Non.. I pull my Usage Meter Up daily and Check for Discrepancies!!! So far I dont have to ask the CEO to step out into the Street!!! thumbs up thumbs up laugh
thumbs up cheers grin
Hi Non ....
Like Elmo said in SA most big companies have their client-staff calls recorded .... Inform you before hand that the call will be recorded ....

But if you don't have that facility ..... The best would be for you to get a "customer service" email address and write to them ..... Nothing is better than a written confirmation plus you could also escalate those written correspondence to someone higher if you don't get the issue sorted out .......
Parti I was checking my usage but that can be 24 hours out of date, so by the time your over you still owe them money dunno

Saggi Well thanks for the song head banger

Nessa Yeah It seems you have to make these requests in writing but they wont give me the department To correspond with so I guess I will have to write them all.
They sure dont make it easy.
