Cropover Festival
It is festival time in my island and this weekend is the start of the Cropover festival which is a celebration of the end of the sugar cane crop harvest. It has evolved into a huge celebration and nowadays starts from now until the end of the crop (cropover). It culminates in an all day street party on the 1st Monday in August.I have added a music video of one of the biggest female soca artistes in Barbados (this song was a hit when released a few years ago.)

This is just the start of the festival. It ends on 5th August 2013 ,So you can still come and enjoy. You might not get a flight out to go back home as it is usually pretty busy.
