Same as you ,Im of the opinion that we are not the first civilization that has developed advanced technology ,what puzzles me is the amount of information that is hidden from us

there are some evidence that there might have been a civilization right around the last ice age, that was a bit more advanced than simple hunter-gatherers … It only shows we don't know about our past.

by the way, great post, for me. archeology and history, one of my passions.
I had the opportunity to visit puma punku and the tiwanaku... on vacation (some people like the beach, i like crazy places), and it is unbelievable. It is impossible to make "H" blocks with precise square corners and perfectly flat surfaces with coper chisels and hammers....most of the "scholars" dont even try to talk about puma punku, tiwanaku, etc. (by the way some stones are magnetic puma punku).
my thoughts on puma punku, the great pyramids, and many of the other ancient wonders on this planet, is they are MUCH older than what is currently written in the history books. I believe there were advanced civilizations that existed previous to what we know, and they are the ones who built these marvels.... "recent' cultures merely stumbled upon, inhabited, modified, and claimed them as their own.”..... as we find what's left of them and scratch our heads...but the "scholars" try to tells us something else....

My English is very bad order to I kept Discus but I have a strong belief that there were many more wonders and geniuses in those epochs.
