Now that Halloween is almost here, how will you celebrate it (if you do) maybe watching your favorite scary movie, playing tricks on others, or handing out treats

I have been to a Halloween party once. It was different and it was many years ago. Australians as a rule do not celebrate it.

One day I would like to carve a pumpkin though...

Hi GoDaniel!

I love Halloween! Here in Vienna it is only celebrated on Oct.31st. At night people walk through the city also wandering through the metro stations either totally disgiuised or with some horror outfit. It's groovy but only fun. I will be going to view them with some friends, probably wearing an illuminating hairband and some funny horror make up on the face.
I always have sweets at home, so don't have to fear the tricks. laugh jackolantern
Halloween is not a Norwegian custom. It is been forced upon us by the business community. We have no tradition about Halloween what so ever, but I know some light candles in the graves of their family and friends on All Hallows night, the 2th of November. Nothing I do, but I know it is done.
The Halloween thing is nothing I like to be in, so I turn off my outside lamp and hope the kids that comes leave me alone. I see no point in bringing Halloween to Norway, except that the business community sells more... I'm sorry, but nothing is wrong with Halloween, it is only just not a custom in Norway and I see no point in force it upon us... Yes, I'm stubborn.laugh hug teddybear
Hey Daniel,
It will be my first time seeing Halloween except for via TV so my Bff said we will give out candy to the children when they come to the door. grin
Should be fun as we don't really celebrate as it isn't a custom in Barbados but one should note some neighborhood have started celebrating (trick or treating )for the children and they have started having Halloween parties for adults.
