..... Background Checks!!
Before I joined CS I met a girl on another site. In her profile it said she lived in California. We started texting one another, she had a California number. Over the course we started talking , come to find out she was living in Ghana using a U.S. number without telling me, texting me from outside the country.I told her I was going to be charged for sending text messages. She kept telling me I wouldn't because she had a U.S. number. Sure enough I was being charged for every text.
Well that ended quickly, not because of the charges to my account but because she was being dishonest.
I think that dating sites should be more cautious with background checks on their members!!
What do you guys think??

Hugs and Kisses My Dear Friend!!
how can you miss me, I don't even know you. I think you got me confused with someone else!!
It happens to the best of us...if you need to do a background check...great but usually our common sense tells us if something is not as it seems...listening to your gut is crucial. Since this is a free site...more stringent background checks could cost the members money...
thanks..

Take care and I will try to post before my next trip..

CS is a free site. Who is going to pay for it?
I think the responsibility is with each individual to ascertain who he is dealing with.
That is a fine idea but I would think it would be very difficult to do. Maybe a possible future business? With all the talk about microchips, that might take care of the problem.
:)
Am I right in assuming that if a previous member was banned it shows up as “profile deleted” but if the member deleted the profile themselves the profile name is still present in previous comments on blogs etc, even though they are not longer an active member?
How are you my friend?? I hope all is well!!
Thanks for your comment, it's a good one!!
i have a same opinion with you and agreed upon decision you have taken on this issue. Money can not compare to honesty.
If in the beginning she had been lied to you, she would have do it again. lie after lie arises as an action to cover up a lie that had been done earlier.
