I am working for a doctor out here in the country and his youngest is getting married in December. His other daughter in Canada and eldest son in Australia will be attending the wedding on the doc's expense and it is also his birthday in December and he will be throwing one hell of a party whereby all the snobs will obviously be invited.I was told about 2 hours ago that there won't be any bonuses this year as he had a bad year and also my holiday has to be cut in half as he wants me to clean all the store rooms where all our old files are being kept wich by the way is riddled with spiders.
But he will be on leave starting Wednesday till January 2nd.I decided that I am going to quit as I don't really need this job. I took the job when I moved out here just to get to know the people and settle in, as I come from the city and now it is basically just my spending money. I also enjoyed working with the elderly folk and thats why I put up with his nonsense. At home I breed bull terrier dogs and also have a vehicle key cutting and programming business.
My colleagues are also up in arms about this and they also decided to leave. I don't know what doc is going to do. I guess his wife will step in and the patients do not like her as she is a b.....
I won't be on CS as much but will pop in now and again to say "hi" and do the blog commenting thing.

Nah !! we decided to just leave for numerous reasons. He is getting old and very forgetfull. Also, he doe not have the ability to communicate decently and yells on us as well as the patients at times. He can be very rude and this is a very small town and everybody talks about it. He never gives you the opportunity to explain something and yells at you before listening to anything you have to say. And if a patient parks in "his" parking, he carries on like a lunatic, goes to the car and sprays it with some sticky gooey stuff that does not wash off. At times I am even embarased to be working for him. One of theses days, someone will come storming in here and I am right in the middle of a war zone.

How right you are. I just had enough. I can tell you some horrible things I have witnessed. And then you still gotta go home and have dinner

I would just not go back and if he calls "Just say oops, i forgot to" As he seems to forget things, like your bonus. So he should understand what it means to be forgetful
I have never been able to figure out people like this that think they own the world because they're educated or they simply think they're brilliant people and everyone else is stupid!
But, as I do with problems like this, I don't need them because they're not mine and I move on!
I am going to paint the nails red, where my nose ring, and put on my blue jeans and a t-shirt. (all the things I am not allowed to) and then I am going to put on the radio and dance on his table.
