This phenomena is called "women's prerogative". Don't try to figure it out because it's not going to make any sense to anyone but a woman and that's ok too.
Just keep trolling. It takes time to "catch" the one you want!
Takes way too much time and stress.
It always helps to try to not be too sensitive about such things .
Simply because you don't know what happened . You are only seeing it as your loss and not your gain .
When this happens you are always free to continue and keep looking .
Of a thousand men that contact me ( in the past , not now ,because I am sorted for a man now ) maybe only one might be of interest to me. Should I painstakingly write each one of my rejection for this or that reason ? I don't have time . Also it's disturbing for me to reject people . Some men are still chasing mr after 8 years on the net in spite of me telling them no many times .
So dear sir, just keep winking at ladies , and expect that only one in a thousand might find you appealing.
Then again consider the lady you winked at , or wrote to, might have met someone the day before , so she has no time right now for you . Give it a month , send her a flower , and you never know she might recognise you with renewed interest.
Just don't ever ever give up .and be very prepared for rejection , it's not you , it's them. Remember this always.
