A Book
My wife past away my girl friend gone the kids lefteven the house rat ran away ,What do I do on a cold and wet winters evening, looking into my book box. My younger dauther wants some books.
From the time I left my father house there was Always a book or books around me, by my bed in the living every where.
Books are one of my best friends I cant think of living in a world without books even before I sleep I read alittle
I could live without TV Internet C.phones maybe the raido but not books. Living on the Island for a time we had no TV yet there
was always some thing to read.
Whith books I can go places open the mind to see and learn about peoples and at the same time going into the new.
Yes I know there is an ereader or ebook
still I like going to bed with a book
on the train with a book on the beach under a tree in a park.
Lets hope the life of a book has many more years before internet
and all the rest take over.
