Same mail twice

I had an e mail from a nice man few days ago and I replied accepting his friendship. He wrote back a couple of times and it was nice BUT today he sent to me the same e mail twice only changing the first line so I think he used that text for more people than just me.
Is that something usual? I know we just met but I think its fair to be honest and not to play trying "to fish" someone. We all deserve a little respect. Dont you think?confused

Hi Maru, wave this is like a candy shop for some people. I never assumed that I was the only one someone is talking to and unfortunately, the number of genuine people who are not playing games etc. is small.

I found that "respect" is not something I received in PM's here. handshake
