Memory Tricks

What tricks do you use to help you remember stuff?

I have only 1 place down stairs and 2 places upstairs where I leave my spectacles. I've disciplined myself not to put them down anywhere else. I got so sick of wasting time looking for them.

If they're not there then they'll be in my handbag. Oh no! which damn handbag??

i do the same as you do...whatever it is ..it has to be where it belongs....then its always there.....

Interesting, isn't it. The two words are synonyms. But, in that particular context, they certainly convey very different ideas, don't they.
