How Happy Are You?

Its something most of us ask ourselves at some point. With so much going on in modern life, do we make any room for happiness. For some, its not as important as it is for others. Some people are never happy no matter what happens. Some others are always happy, even in the midst of modern living.

Basically yes. I'm reasonably healthy, my son's doing well. I got a nice roof over my head and food in the fridge plus some luxuries like the pc and a car... what more do I need to be happy? nothing. So yes, I'm happy.

I think you can make happiness/unhappiness a choice.

I choose to be happy, no matter what life throws my way.

Sure you will be knocked back at times, but you can choose whether to get back up with a smile or a scowl.

sometimes I need to remind myself its not a crime to be happy. My life is not that bad, I have all the basics (food shelter, internet), and I live in a good place with all things considered.
