THE OLDER PEOPLE GROW THE MORE FEARFUL THEY BECOME

I just noticed that, the more people grow old, the more fearful they become, but the contrary is true, younger people are more open and less fearful!

I know most people are either fearful of others, or open to others! One old woman told me in 2001, when her granddaughter my ex took me to her house in Paris that,
" I SHOULD LIKE TO LOVE YOU AND DISLIKE TO HATE YOU BUT YOU'RE WELCOME" for dating her granddaughter.

Not fearful my friend, the word is careful. Once we have lost the folly of our youth, we look before we leap. As we get older, we certainly become less fearful. After all, we have to overcome the fear of death and most of us do.

definitely not fearful, just more responsible...the things we use to do when we're young gets pushed aside so we can focus on the real world
thank you great guys , we learn from the elders!.But when you see some elderly people, stay indoors for days, is that been careful?

Cat is right...why tempt fate?...when my ex was applying for Canadian citizenship...he made a habit of avoiding fights...New Zealand males were known to punch it up in bars...he was keenly aware of this...he avoided confrontations at bars and kept quiet...he received his citizenship by playing a smart game...survival is the key here and fulfilling your desires...wine
Tu t’es fait botter les miches, Didier!! kiss
As you grow older, hopefully you grow wiser! I am not fearful but I don't believe in tempting fate! As we age, we learn our limitations! I am not the same guy I was 5 yrs ago. I still like to bicycle though to get my excercise when weather permits.thumbs up
ça serait bien si c'était avec toi Monpellier! Alors ça te tente?
Hi, I think, than the person becomes more senior than subjects he wiserlaugh
We are more CAREFUL as now we think about the consequences of our actions.scold
Singlelisious i can understand that, and most response here are similar to yours!
But i think seniors should make friends with the younger generation instead of thinking they are being careful and staying lonely. As you exchange ideas, you will understand that both the younger generation and seniors have something in common, also something to learn from each other.
