I understand that there are some countries where no real freedom exists.
For me, Christmas means my children coming home and us all spending time together. Yes, it has become very commercialised but it is also a time when friends and family get together, more so than at any other time of year. It's like a kind of renewal of bonds and there is nothing wrong with that in my book.
