Christmas
Here we go again, another Christmas where people wish those they don't even like a Merry Christmas and send cards to those they don't even think about for the rest of the year. It's such a shame the real meaning of Christmas is lost in the madness to have, 'the biggest tree', 'the best Christmas lights' and to boast about all the presents received.
Even though the real meaning of Christmas is lost, the ugliness of materialism raises it's head once more.

Originally it was to replace the pagan mid-winter celebrations and bring pagans into the church.
We had Christmas at home in peace and quiet, without such a glamour as nowdays and there was not the custom of giving presents.
Christmas is nothing more speciall day for me as all other days. We should make or at least wish each other joy on every day.
I bring the tree for the sake of children, and do not necessary wait to set it on Christmas eve. I buy it a week before and set it in the house the same day, let children do all the rest. They become smaller present each.
What i find great about Christmas is the idea of so many people gathered together for a good, peacfull reason.
As a child I loved Christmas...the day spent with all your relatives and people visiting...the food and the presents...now I am just happy to spend time with others and socialize...no big tree or gaudy lights...just glad to be around loved ones...
I'm grateful to be spending time with family, including my children on Christmas Day....that is all I want and need...
Xmas for me is time spent with family and friends.
Hope Xmas is good and have a wonderful day!!
