Pump up for the Feats Of Strength!
Make out your list for the Airing Of Grievances!
(Some of us have been rushing the season on this, haven't we? Yeah! I think we have. )
And remember - It doesn't end 'til the head of the house has been forcibly pinned to the ground!

It is, after all, for the "rest of us"...even y'all Chinese folks.
Also, I really like flied lice. And bbq'd squids.
It is interesting, is it not, Ish?
It essentially establishes and formalizes the celebration as being...well...a bit out there. Kinda dysfunctional, if you will.
As many (most?) seasonal gatherings turn dysfunctional anyway, many people are saddened, disappointed & disillusioned.
Because Festivus accepts a degree of dysfunction, folks aren't disappointed when it occurs.
It does much to alleviate the Holiday Blues :blue: which afflict so many people.
I say celebrate whatever one wants however one wants.
No need to look for other peoples validations.
