A bit of exercise
never killed anyone right !!!!So, I have registered to walk 5k for Pieta House
Loads of venues, I have chosen Shannon, as its my nearest location.
Also looking to spend 4 days in Killarney

Organised by Active Retirement Ireland and The Gleneagle Hotel. Participants will have the chance to try out a huge range of activities including kayaking, motorcycling, surfing, abseiling, Tai Chi and Pilates as well as attending seminars on subjects including social media, online dating, mindfulness and nutrition. And after a lengthy day of action and adventure, there will be live entertainment every evening, including performances by Brendan Shine, Red Hurley, The Ronan Collins Showband Show and HIYA Entertainment.
I have (in the past) done kayaking ,motorcycling, abseiling, tai chi & pilates, never done surfing, so, something new to try.
Does anyone else do this kind of thing ? or is it just me ?

Kidding aside, weather was too nice, just back from a walk.

sounds like your going to have a nice busy planned few days away.. been watching THE GLENEAGLE HOTEL program on tv these past few weeks, looks like a wonderful hotel, i hope you have an enjoyable stay..the entertainment sounds like my cuppa tea.
Speed walking in the evenings and pilates would be my regular exercise routine ...surfing i would love to try and do, but i don't think i would be able to stay standing on the board, let alone surf it... hope you master it
Would love to take up archery but unfortunately i can't find anyone to join also with me, but perhaps that's a good thing,i could be dangerous with a bow & arrow in hand
