I NEED Batteries !!!!
So I settle myself down, with a glass of red, get comfy, and ......... I need batteries
So I pop next door to my sister, she isn't in, I tell my brother in law, I need batteries, he lifts his eye brows,
" you NEED batteries " yes, I say, AA's.
The last batch I bought ( a pack of 100 ) has run out ....
He hasn't got AA's
I go to the local shop ( 3 miles away ) and explain, I need batteries, shop assistant says, have you wiggled the old ones, Yes, I have, Ive even warmed them on a radiator... totally dead.
Why do I need batteries.... simple
I cant work the tv with out a remote
Honestly, can you work a tv without a remote ?

If the laptop works it's not too bad - haven't switched on my telly for month, can't get up German channels and not bothered with Irish telly.

I got some for the grandkids...for stuff they got for Christmas.
