RE: Poor, Poor Cricket

It doesn't take much common sense to know if you have a dog you are training to hunt birds you keep it on a lead especially with a hen farm right next door to its home.doh

You shouldn't let any dog roam around the countryside let alone a hunting dog .Fact.

This apology for a human being is so far up herself it beggars belief. She's the crazy one not the dog or the goat or the 3 horses or any other animal she shot just because it annoyed her.

In the Guv's defense ...
Doing in Cricket may be the Least crazy part.

If she was going after livestock - chickens - that's an automatic death sentence in a rural setting.
That's not just commonly understood, it's written into state laws.
At least one state has extended that ruling to a dog chasing protected game animals... i.e. whitetail deer.

The thinking being that killing the dog not only protects the livestock/game animals, also eliminates it from the gene pool.

Hello querty keyboard.wave

There are no rules in loving someone surely. We have to learn to love ourselves first.True love comes with respect and many other qualities that grow with the relationship which should always have a two way balance.

It's so easy to be drawn into a relationship through flattery ,s*xual attraction or whatever else turns you on,but time will tell if it is meaningful.

Taking a journey of love is a wonderful experience so if there are doubts about a partner for whatever reason the journey can be painful in many ways.

We should be able to trust our instincts but sometimes they let us down .I have discovered inner peace over the years and believe it or not have past partners trying to make amends even at my age .grin

I have male companions and still enjoy their company so never alone and that's enough for me.handshake

RE: Poor, Poor Cricket

This is self promotion at its worst to be honest. Apart from bragging about killing defenceless animals there is much in this book that is suspect.

For instance:-

"Thursday and Friday, news emerged from outlets including Politico and The Dakota Scout of inaccuracies in Noem’s book, the title of which — “No Going Back” — is now ripe with irony. The most glaring inaccuracy is Noem’s recounting of a meeting with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un during her time in Congress — a meeting that never happened."

An allegedly radicalised teenager armed with a large kitchen knife has been shot dead by police in Western Australia.

The incident unfolded in the carpark of a Bunnings at Willetton in Perth's south overnight.

WA Premier Roger Cook says the 16-year-old attacked a member of the public before rushing at police officers.

"There are indications he had been radicalised online," Cook told reporters on Sunday.

"But I want to reassure the community at this stage it appears that he acted solely and alone.

What Makes Jesus Unique? No one else made the claims that He did, He is alive...............

He made them to be like himself.

He made some of them males and some of them females.

God blessed them. He said to them, ‘Give birth to children. Grow in number. Fill the earth and rule over it. Rule over the fish in the sea. Rule over the birds in the sky. Rule over every different kind of living animal that moves along the ground.’

Then God said, ‘Listen! I now give to you every plant on the earth as your food. I give you every plant that has seeds in it. I give you every tree that has fruit with a seed in it. I give them to you for your food.

I give to the animals green plants for their food. It will be food for all the animals on the earth, all the birds in the sky and all the animals that move along the ground. Everything that has life may eat every kind of green plant.’

And what God said happened.

God looked at everything that he had made. He saw that it was very good.

Evening passed. And then it was morning.

That was the sixth day.

God said, ‘There will be lights all across the sky. They will make the day different from the night. They will show the seasons, days and years. 15 The lights in the sky will give light to the earth.’

And what God said happened.

God made two great lights. The brighter light ruled over the day. The less bright light ruled over the night. God also made the stars.

God put all these lights in the sky to shine their light on the earth.

They were to rule over the day and night. They were to make the time of light separate from the time of dark.

God looked at what he had made. He saw that it was good.

19 Evening passed and then it was morning.

That was the fourth day.

God said, ‘The waters will become full of many living things. Birds will appear and fly above the earth, all across the sky.’
1 God made big animals to live in the sea. He made every different kind of living thing that filled the sea. He made every different kind of bird to fly in the sky.

God looked at what he had made. He saw that it was good.

God blessed the animals and the birds. He said to them, ‘Give birth to many young ones, so that you grow in number. Fill all the water in the seas. The birds also should become very many, all across the earth.’

Evening passed and then it was morning.

That was the fifth day.

God said, ‘Different kinds of animals will now appear on the land. There will be farm animals and wild animals. There will also be other small animals that move along the ground. There will be many kinds of animals and each kind will be different.’

And what God said happened.

God made the different kinds of wild animals and the different kinds of farm animals. He made all the different kinds of animals that move along the ground.

God looked at what he had made. He saw that it was good.

Then God said, ‘We will make humans so that they are very much like us. They will rule over the fish in the sea and over the birds in the sky. They will rule over the farm animals. They will rule over the whole earth and all the animals that move along the ground.’

God made humans

What Makes Jesus Unique? No one else made the claims that He did, He is alive...............

God makes the earth
In the beginning, God made the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without shape and it was empty. Deep water covered the earth and everywhere was dark. The Spirit of God moved above the water.

God said, ‘There will be light!’

And there was light.

God saw that the light was good.

He caused the light and the dark to be separate.

God called the light ‘day’. He called the dark ‘night’.

Evening passed and then it was morning.

That was the first day.

Then God said, ‘A wide space will appear between the waters. So the waters will be in two separate places.’

So God made this wide space. He made the water under the space separate from the water that was above it. What God said happened.

God called the wide space ‘sky’.

Evening passed and then it was morning.

That was the second day.

God said, ‘The water that is under the sky will come together in one place. Then dry ground will appear.’

And what God said happened.

God called the dry ground ‘land’. He called the water that had come together ‘sea’.

God looked at what he had made. He saw that it was good.

Then God said, ‘The land will cause plants to grow. There will be plants with their seeds and trees with their fruits. Each kind of plant and tree will have its own seeds and fruits.’

And what God said happened.

All kinds of plants and trees began to grow in the ground. The plants made seeds. The trees made fruits with seeds in them. Each plant made its own kind of seeds.

God looked at what he had made. He saw that it was good.

Evening passed, and then it was morning.

That was the third day.

Genesis
About the Book of Genesis
Genesis is the first book in the Bible. The word ‘Genesis’ means ‘beginning’.
Genesis is a book about events that happened a long time ago. It tells us about the lives of many important people. It tells us about the first humans, Adam and Eve, and their descendants, Cain, Abel and Noah. It also tells us about Abraham and Sarah, and Abraham's sons, Isaac and Ishmael. It tells us about Jacob and how God changed his name to Israel. Jacob's sons became the ancestors of the 12 tribes of Israel. It tells us much about Joseph who was one of Jacob's sons.
The Book of Genesis also teaches us many important things that we need to know. It teaches us about the world, about ourselves, and about God.
It explains that God made the world. It tells us that God filled the world with beautiful plants and animals. It tells us that he made men and women. Everything that God made was very good.
It explains how the first man and woman refused to obey God. And it explains that everyone has had trouble and pain since that time.
It also tells us about God's promise to forgive people and to bless them. And it tells us that God decided to send a special person to save people.

Double standards

Yes, it is true, as you say. You explained beautifully. Even the courts that apply the law deal with double standards. Look at the international courts. The law is applied to one group and not to another group. This is what you mentioned: corruption, money, and interests. We live in a big lie called the law. It is applied only to the weak and the poor.

RE: 4/23/24 - 1st NPR Electoral Vote Map Of '24 Shows Trump Up 283 - 255 | 270 Needed To Win

The Supreme Court’s conservative majority in June ruled that President Joe Biden didn’t have the authority to cancel student debt for millions of Americans.

He’s still trying.

In what one legal scholar described as “a very direct confrontation with the Court,” Biden held a press briefing from the White House just hours after the justices issued their verdict.

“Today’s decision has closed one path,” the president said. “Now we’re going to pursue another.”

That alternative plan, which has become known as Biden’s Plan B, could forgive student debt for as many as 10 million people, according to one estimate. The president may try to deliver that relief before November.

As Biden prepares for the 2024 presidential election and tries to turn around his recent struggles with young voters, his administration has explored all of its existing authority to leave people with less student debt.

RE: 4/23/24 - 1st NPR Electoral Vote Map Of '24 Shows Trump Up 283 - 255 | 270 Needed To Win

The Biden administration on November 14 extended a sanctions waiver to allow Iran to access upwards of $10 billion in electricity revenue once held in escrow in Iraq. The waiver allows Baghdad to continue purchasing electricity from Iran and, in a change from past policy, for Iran to convert its revenue into euros and draw on the money for budget imports out of Iraq and Oman.

The extension comes just over a month after Hamas — a terrorist group armed and funded by the regime in Tehran — conducted a surprise attack on Israel, killing 1,200 Israelis and kidnapping more than 240. Other proxies financed and armed by Tehran have attacked U.S. troops in Iraq and Syria with rockets and drones.

Expert Analysis
“President Biden deserves great credit for supporting Israel’s campaign to destroy Hamas. President Biden deserves strong condemnation for greenlighting the funding of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the main financier of and weapons supplier for the horrific October 7 attacks on Israel. It is beyond belief that he would make available $10 billion for a regime that will turn around and use this money to wage war against America and Israel.” — Mark Dubowitz, FDD CEO

“Five weeks after the October 7 massacre and in the wake of 55 attacks on U.S. forces since October 17, the idea of making $10 billion available to the sponsor of all this evil makes little sense. Congress rightfully pushed to lock down the $6 billion in Qatar; it should move quickly to lock down this $10 billion too.” — Richard Goldberg, FDD Senior Advisor

Waiver Part of Unacknowledged Nuclear Deal
The new waiver extended for 120 days a U.S. waiver first issued in July that gave Iran access to the $10 billion in electricity revenue held in escrow in Iraq. It remains unclear whether Iran has spent any of the $10 billion since July. The July waiver came as part of an unacknowledged nuclear understanding between the United States and Iran, evading the congressional review requirement of the 2015 Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act. Weeks later, the administration agreed to release another $6 billion in Iranian funds frozen in South Korea as part of a deal to secure the release of Tehran’s American hostages

According to the Associated Press, U.S. officials insist Iran can only spend the released funds on humanitarian purchases, including food, medicine, medical equipment, and agricultural goods. Yet opponents of the waiver note that money is fungible and that the waiver will allow the regime to free up funds to continue arming its anti-U.S. and anti-Israel proxies.

Funding Terrorist Groups
Iran has armed and funded terrorist groups for years. Iran provides Hamas $100 million annually and about $700 million per year to Hezbollah, in addition to numerous other terrorist groups in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen. These groups, like the Houthis in Yemen and Hezbollah in Lebanon, also receive advanced weapons from Tehran, including guided munitions made in Iran. Iran further funds Shiite proxies that have attacked American forces in the region 55 times since October 17.
