Money: Makes the world go square!

When I think of money, that I singlehandedly work for:
All those long hours, exhausting, causing major migraines, that you suppress till your own private time.

Money, Is just a means to an end, else it will show on your bank account, of what use, you may ask, till you need it next time, earning interest. After all it is your money, to do with as you wish!

Money is there to spend, and save some for a rainy day too?

Are some people true gifts from God?

Of course if you believe in God.

With that aside, what do you think? Are some people just so special/influential/inspiring/moving...

I think some musicians are that.

I have been listening to a lot of Shakira's music lately...not even sure why...I cannot even understand the language most of her music is in...and it is just amazing.

Good Thursday/Friday all.

Military Men...

I shouldn't ask a question... do women still fall for men in uniform?
Yesterday, I watched a bunch of YouTube videos and news articles and cleared my cookies & cache file. This morning, when I came to the CS main page, the images at the bottom were men and women where I only see local women after I've previously logged in.

Oh look... it's a man in an army uniform appearing on CS. He's using the name of McJames. We all know he's a scammer with a stolen photo of General James C. McConville.

Every week I see bogus profiles of guys in uniform and wonder if women are attracted to a military man or if it's something only perceived by scammers.

Opting out of the virus panic should be an option

I don't understand why this virus is such a big deal. I admit it. Yes there's no effective treatment or cure yet. Fact remains the infection rate is low - the city it started in has 11 million inhabitants and no precautions were taken at first. Why didn't more of the 11 million get it confused

Fact remains the fatality rate is low - the 2018 flu killed nearly 70K in America alone, nearly killed me in another country for that matter, barely made it to the news. Uh? confused

Fact remains that for most people it is pretty mild. Pneumonia is no fun at all but only if you are old, or already having health difficulties, or have lung problems, or are overweight / diabetic, will the virus become a form of pneumonia there's no current cure for, but it does only affect a small percentage.

Fact - those not at high risk, or who are prepared to take the risk, are being frogmarched by the more fearful despite all the above. very mad

So maybe there should be a declaration to opt out for anyone prepared to sign a pledge to protect those who are opting in. Swear to wear hi-vis t-shirts or hats clearly stating I OPTED OUT, perhaps, so they can recognise each other, and shake hands normally. A forehead tattoo saying OPTED OUT is complete peace of mind for everyone else.

A pledge, perhaps -

1. I will wear my hi-vis OO colours (lime with purple OO letters?) prominently at all times when in public
2. I will keep well clear of anyone not displaying OO colours
3. I will leave the bulk buying and panicking to the wusses roll eyes
4. I willingly and voluntarily forgo medical investigation / treatment of any symptoms which remotely resemble this virus and in proof of this agree to having OO tattooed on my forehead. Now back off and let me get on with living my life my way since I am not risking or interfering in any way with yours.

Fair's fair.

Vierkaesehochonline today!

A miracle---Free at last, free at last, free at .last.

My two day fast from CS blogging is over, and I feel like a new man!. More energy, better body odor, fewer farts, memory up, increased regularity, stronger voiding stream and much more. But the kicker is, big little Vierk seems to have gained a few inches in length. Those yogis are onto something. Can't make any of this stuff up folks.

Toilet paper update...

I made it to Walmart this morning 10 minutes after opening to do (what I consider) weekly shopping. Since this area is on a stay-home order, I got a few extra items to minimize my trips out... important things and not 4 bottles of Coke like the last trip!

Expecting the panic buying to be over... I was wrong.
Displays of fruits, vegetables, milk, eggs all looked like normal. This time there were a limited selection of meats, better than the last visit.

It was the paper products aisle that was empty.
I did see one woman with a package of toilet paper so there must have been some stock that got scooped up in 15 minutes of the store opening!

Someones Culture

While reading and doing some hard thinking about something today.I read a post about someones culture and such.About how that particular culture was or is.It proved to me that there are still prejudices in this country today.

One of my older late brothers had enlisted in the Army many years ago during wartime, and during that time frame he had met and wished to marry a young lady but because she didn't wish to move to the states and leave her parents behind they both went their separate ways.I did see a picture some time ago of her sitting on his coffee table of the many times I'd been at his apartment and she was very pretty. I thought to myself on how neat it would've been to have had some possible Japanese nieces and nephews.I would've been such a proud and happy Aunt. But it never happened.

I'm of mixed race myself. My late father who was born Native American had been adopted by a American Indian family when he was a small child cause his own mother who was white had given him up.

When I had learned of my older brother and the lady that he had wished to marry back then and if they obviously would've had any children should I had just had nothing to ever do with them or her even though they would've been my nieces or nephews regardless of their culture which their mother had originally came from?

How to survive life.

Song from Red Dead 2 game...May I stand unshaken amidst the crash of worlds.
Best words ever. Anyone who is approaching or into old age has seen many worlds crash around them. Children have a view of how life is, should be and will be for them. And then they get B slapped. How seldom does life turn out the way expected.
I see life as a river you float down. Sometimes you rest on a lush island. Sometimes the flood carries you and maybe even over a falls. With luck you survive and float on again. Very few people get to live their life on a lush island and some end up dying going over a falls.
My dad was born in another era. All the changes he went through in life is mind boggling. He lived through the Spanish flu and never even talked about it!? Went from gas lights to electricity, horse era to autos. Radios to TVs.
When I think life is tough, I remember what he and mom lived through and say I have no comparison.
I feel sorry for the spoiled young of today. Sheltered from adversity, spoiled and told the world is awaiting them, they run head on into the real world and bury themselves in drugs or suicide. They grow up with no coping skills. Death is hidden except on video games where they can always reset. The first time they are told no, they flip out.
My parents had the means to spoil me. I know mom was an easier mark. But, they knew the rest of the world didn't care. And it was their job to say no more than yes. Make me think..do I really want that. Teach me that money takes work and spend and save wisely.
So many lessons we old folks were taught are gone. So many skills we learned are fading into obscurity.
I am surprised by the kindness shown in this time of plague. But, see already the greed factor kicking in, lead by corporations ticked off cause profits are falling. I hate the phrase..oh I love it. No, I don't love foods or cars or clothes. I only love special people. I may really like materials goods, but, reserve love for humans and animals and the earth.
We face a crash of worlds. What will next year prove we are?dunno
