The Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) will make changes to debate rules following Tuesday night's chaotic first presidential debate between President Donald Trump and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden in Cleveland.

The commission announced on Wednesday it will add "additional structure" to the remaining scheduled debates.

"Last night's debate made clear that additional structure should be added to the format of the remaining debates to ensure a more orderly discussion of the issues," said the CPD in a statement. "The CPD will be carefully considering the changes that it will adopt and will announce those measures shortly."

While thanking debate moderator Chris Wallace for keeping "professionalism and skill" during last night's showdown, the commission also promised that "additional tools to maintain order" will be put in place.

The commission has not yet revealed what these additional tools or strategies will be ahead of the next presidential debate, scheduled for October 15 in Miami, Florida.

Throughout the 98-minute debate, Trump was responsible for 71 interruptions, while Biden was responsible for 22, according to the Washington Post's Aaron Blake.

"I think that the country would be better served if we allowed both people to speak with fewer interruptions," Wallace said to Trump at one point during the debate. "I am appealing to you, sir, to do that."

While topical issues surrounding the coronavirus pandemic, health care, race, and law and order were discussed, Tuesday's debate was filled with hostility and interruptions as both men faced-off ahead of the November 3 presidential election.

Biden's remarks against his opponent received widespread attention across social media, including asking Trump, "Will you shut up, man?" and calling him a "clown" on two occasions. Trump's consistent interruptions and off-hand insults—including aggressive comments towards Biden's sons and insults aimed towards the former vice president's intelligence—certainly did not go unnoticed.

Trump also did not publicly condemn white supremacists when asked to by Wallace and told well-known extremist group the Proud Boys to "stand down and stand by."

In response to an Associated Press tweet highlighting the structural changes promised by the CPD, Trump lashed out at both Biden and Wallace.

During a press briefing in Alliance, Ohio, Biden called the president's behavior a "national embarrassment" and proposed some measures that the CPD can consider to better handle the upcoming second and third presidential debates.

A British woman who claimed she has slept with at least 20 ghosts says she’s now engaged to a poltergeist.

In December, Amethyst Realm told British TV show “ITV This Morning” that she cheated on her fiancé with a ghost, and has since gone on to have supernatural affairs with at least 20 paranormal beings.

Well, now she says she’s found true love with an apparition.

Realm said the ghost asked her to get married during a trip to celebrate their nine-month relationship at England’s Wookey Hole caves, according to The Sun.

“There was no going down on one knee — he doesn’t have knees. But for the first time, I heard him speak,” she told The Sun. “I could actually hear his voice and it was beautiful. Deep, sexy and real.”

The 30-year-old said she met her spooky match, who doesn’t have a name, during a work trip to Australia in February.

“I’d not had a phantom fling for a while and as I was away on business, starting a new relationship was the last thing on my mind,” the Bristol-based spiritual counselor told The Sun. “Then one day, while I was walking through the bush, enjoying nature, I suddenly felt this incredible energy. A new lover had arrived.”

Realm said her friends and family have embraced her unusual engagement and now she is planning her big day as a “Pagan” ceremony.

“We haven’t discussed the details yet but I think it will be quite a big do,” she said.

However, the couple already had sex on the plane back from Australia when they first met.

“I was happy and excited — so excited that we had to do something about it,” she said. “So we headed to the plane loo and, well, I am now a member of the Mile High Club.”

The bride-to-be added that this engagement is much more satisfying than her previous living fiancé.

“Sometimes I get the feeling that I’m being moved,” she said. “o*gasm I have with my spirit lovers have been way more satisfying than any I’ve had with ordinary men.”

The so-called Road Map could inform how special counsel Robert Mueller handles his investigation into the Trump campaign and Russia.

A federal judge on Thursday granted a request to unseal part of a Watergate report known as the Road Map which gives details about President Richard Nixon’s involvement in covering up the Watergate break-in and was used to inform articles of impeachment against him.

The Road Map, which was sent to the House Judiciary Committee in 1974, could be used as precedent for how Special Counsel Robert Mueller will end his investigation into whether Trump’s presidential campaign colluded with Russia.

Politico first reported the Road Map’s release on Thursday.

Chief U.S. District Court Judge Beryl Howell released part of the Road Map at the request of George Shepard, who served in Nixon’s defense team during Watergate.

In the order obtained by Politico, Howell said the National Archives told her the report consists of a “two-page summary statement, followed by 53 individually numbered statements” and 97 documents supporting those statements.

The National Archive also said 81 of the documents had already been made public, whether in a House Judiciary Committee report or “elsewhere in the public domain.”

In addition to the Road Map’s partial release, Howell ordered the Justice Department to contact the individuals named in the remaining 16 documents to see whether they object to the report’s release.

In September, three legal scholars had also filed a petition to the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia asking for the Road Map to be unsealed.

The September request was filed by Brookings Institution senior fellow Benjamin Wittes; Jack Goldsmith, former senior official for the Justice Department under President George W. Bush who is now a law professor at Harvard; and Stephen Bates, a law professor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and the former federal prosecutor working for Kenn Starr, whose investigation resulted in the impeachment of President Bill Clinton.

“We did so because the document is of significant historical interest and significant contemporary interest,” Wittes, Goldsmith and Bates explained in the legal blog Lawfare, where Wittes is editor-in-chief.

“The Road Map is one of the few significant pieces of Watergate history that remains unavailable to the public,” they continued. “The document is also keenly relevant to current discussions of how Mueller should proceed.”
