A new NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist National Poll shows only 36 percent of Democrat voters want Joe Biden, who reportedly received a record 81 million votes just a year ago, to run for reelection in 2024. In contrast, the poll shows 50 percent of Republican voters want President Trump to run for reelection in 2024. Biden’s approve/disapprove is underwater at 44/49.

Now, I lived in Japan for a little while, long enough to pick up on some of the language and customs.

And see at least some of their television and comics. One thing was their fixation on very young girls, and little, girly-girly voices, and sailor school uniforms.

Not that I ever comprehended any of it.

While searching the Net for information on German Tanks, that is "Panzer" (German, "Armor") I ran across what seems to be a wildly successful and extensive series "Girls und Panzer" ("und" in German, meaning, "and.")


Although there are plenty of episodes in Japanese with English subtitles, I cannot fathom how the premise of the story could ever come to pass; competing high school girl teams are equipped with restored tanks from every age and then engage in war games to the death, all to little girl voices and school uniforms.

While the depiction of each individual tank is very accurate, their performance is not, (but for me to expect that is silly).

While I loved Japanese karate, noodles and well, their womenfolk, this series has me stumped, but like a car wreck in progress, I can't look away.

George Soros and Reid Hoffman are teaming up to launch a new venture tackling media 'disinformation' – a popular euphemism for their relentless campaign to control the narrative.
"The growth of the fact-checking industry has reflected the left’s desire to capture a monopoly on truth. That pursuit has now escalated to a blitzkrieg to discredit their opponents as champions of fake news with new institutions and demands for heightened censorship.

The introduction of the Hoffman, Soros-funded venture to the cause comes as the Aspen Institute’s “Commission on Information” is expected to unveil a new report on “misinformation.” The commission is co-chaired by Katie Couric, who deliberately omitted criticism of NFL kneeling protests from Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Chris Krebs, a former senior official at the Department of Homeland Security official. In December, Krebs proclaimed the 2020 election “the most secure in American history” that featured record-number voting in the form of mail-in ballots with new procedures implemented to facilitate such a high turn-out at the last minute.

Also on the commission is Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, who believes the First Amendment is “bonkers,” and is now co-authoring a report to recommend what government and corporate leaders ought to do to enhance their crusade on political dissidents and serve as noble thought-police.

To compliment efforts from the Aspen Institute and Good Information Inc., which cited funding for the NeverTrump website Bulwark as an example of its bipartisanship, a recent Facebook whistleblower who is also a Democrat activist that helped suppress blockbuster reporting on Hunter Biden, has come forward complaining the tech giant doesn’t do enough to suppress conservative content.

The left-wing obsession with fact-checking and censorship serves as nothing more than a relentless campaign to control the facts. Control the facts and control the narrative. Control the narrative, and control the truth.

Disgraced ex-Gov. Andrew Cuomo was charged Thursday with groping a former aide in Albany’s Executive Mansion — a crime that could send him to jail for a year if he’s convicted.

A misdemeanor criminal complaint filed in Albany City Court alleges that Cuomo, 63, “did intentionally, and for no legitimate purpose, forcibly place his hand under the blouse shirt of the victim … and onto her intimate body part.”

“Specifically, the victims left breast for the purposes of degrading and satisfying his s*xual desire,” it adds.

The incident allegedly took place on the afternoon of Dec. 7 on the second floor of the Executive Mansion, the governor’s official residence.

The name of the alleged victim was redacted from the complaint, but a lawyer representing former Cuomo aide Brittany Commisso, 33, acknowledged it’s her.

The complaint charges Cuomo with forcible touching, which carries a maximum sentence of one year in jail.

The alleged evidence against him includes a text message from Cuomo’s cellphone, state police aviation records for Dec. 7 and news reports of a press conference that day, state police BlackBerry PIN messages, swipe card records from the state Capitol, and Commisso’s testimony to the Attorney General’s Office.


A summons has been issued directing the former governor to appear in Albany City Court on Nov. 17, according to the Albany County Sheriff’s Office and the Albany County District Attorney’s Office.

Cuomo is expected to surrender to authorities sometime next week to be arrested and booked, sources said.

Albany County District Attorney David Soares opened a criminal investigation of Cuomo on Aug. 3, shortly after state Attorney General Letitia James detailed the alleged groping incident in a report that accused the then-governor of sexually harassing 11 women, including nine current or former state workers.


Six days later, Commisso, an administrative assistant in the governor’s office, went public in a tearful interview on “CBS This Morning” during which she said Cuomo “put his hand up my blouse and cupped my breast over my bra” inside Albany’s Executive Mansion in November.

“The governor needs to be held accountable,” said Commisso.

“What he did to me was a crime. He broke the law.”

In a statement Thursday evening, Soares said, “Like the rest of the public, we were surprised to learn today that a criminal complaint was filed in Albany City Court by the Albany County Sheriff’s Office against Andrew Cuomo.”

On October 21st, 2021, actor Alec Baldwin while on set for filming of the movie RUST discharges a gun used as a prop. The gun wasn't loaded with a blank, instead it had a real bullet that struck director of photography, Halyna Hutchins and film's director, Joel Souza who was behind Halyna. Hutchins dies and Souza survives.

Opinions of 180 degrees start flying. Some blame Baldwin for not checking the gun. Some say it's handled by specialized film crew, actor's aren't required to check props. On and on we go.

Investigations start coming through and the finger of blame gets rotated a few times a day.
