Blocking a fire hydrant with your BMW...

Every driver knows that blocking a fire hydrant could get you a ticket. In some states the fine is more than $110.

That doesn't appear to phase BMW drivers as they've become daringly notorious for parking near (and sometimes blocking) hydrants. The risk of a ticket would be nothing to someone who drives a vehicle valued at more than $100,000.

If you've seen a fire hose filled with water, it resists bending and at times unyielding. Therefore the connection to the hydrant is as direct as possible without curves or kinks. In an emergency, firefighters don't have time to play with BMW drivers blocking hydrants and they have been known to bust through side windows so they can get a 'straight shot' connection to the blocked hydrant.

Does this send out a message to a BMW driver (or any other driver) who blocks a fire hydrant? You betcha!

Okay, so it's a Series 5 at $50,000.
The BMW aHOLE mentality is still the same.

NOPE! Federal Judge just blocked Biden’s Vaccine Mandate nationwide

Oh no you don't.

Nov 30 (Reuters) – The Biden administration was blocked from enforcing two mandates requiring millions of American workers to get vaccinated against COVID.

U.S. District Judge Terry Doughty in Monroe, Louisiana, temporarily blocked the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) from enforcing its vaccine mandate for healthcare workers until the court can resolve legal challenges.

Doughty’s ruling applied nationwide, except in 10 states where the CMS was already prevented from enforcing the rule due to a prior order from a federal judge in St. Louis.

Doughty said the CMS lacked the authority to issue a vaccine mandate that would require more than 2 million unvaccinated healthcare workers to get a coronavirus shot. “There is no question that mandating a vaccine to 10.3 million healthcare workers is something that should be done by Congress, not a government agency,” wrote Doughty.

Separately, U.S. District Judge Gregory Van Tatenhove in Frankfort, Kentucky, blocked the administration from enforcing a regulation that new government contracts must include clauses requiring that contractors’ employees get vaccinated.

The White House declined to comment.

‘Coward’ BLM leader clashes with Dan Bongino, refuses to condemn riots

The Black Lives Matter leader who threatened “bloodshed” if there wasn’t police reform in New York City stormed out of an interview with Fox News’ Dan Bongino Saturday night after being called a “coward” for refusing to condemn riots.

New York BLM co-founder Hawk Newsome clashed with the conservative commentator during a heated exchange about rioting and vandalism in the Big Apple linked to his group in the wake of police use-of-force incidents.

Bongino, who is a former NYPD cop, asked the BLM leader if he condemned the “riots and burning down buildings” that have taken place after police-involved incidents, which escalated in New York last year.

“No. What I’ll say is, I understand when a police officer unjustifiably kills someone, why people lash out. I understand that completely,” Newsome said, adding: “I’m not going to condemn, nor am I going to condone it.”

Bongino hit back accusing him of being “cowardly” and not being able to answer questions when put on the spot — despite talking a “lot of junk.”

“Do you condone violence or you condemn violence? You’re all over the place. Just condemn violence and burning of buildings down. How hard is it?” the Fox host said.

After complaining that Bongino wasn’t giving him a chance to answer, Newsome compared BLM protests to the response from US authorities after 9/11.

“OK, so when Osama bin Laden attacked the World Trade Center, did you say America should deal with it peacefully?” Newsome said, prompting Bongino to argue the terrorist attacks had nothing to do with rioting in NYC.

Newsome responded: “OK, I’ll give you this. I don’t condone it, I don’t promote it, but I will not condemn it.”

He then cut the interview short, telling Bongino: “You’re trying to bait me.”

The fiery exchange came in the wake of Newsome’s comments last week in which he vowed there’ll be “riots,” “fire” and “bloodshed” if Mayor-elect Eric Adams follows through with his promise to bring back plainclothes anti-crime cops to battle the surge in violent crimes.

“If they think they are going back to the old ways of policing then we’re going to take to the streets again,” Newsome had said. “There will be riots. There will be fire, and there will be bloodshed.”

You can't make this stuff up - VP Harris to attend border crisis conference - IN EUROPE

The veep travels to France on Monday for four days of high-profile meetings with French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and other European leaders as they gather in Paris to mark Armistice Day, which commemorates the end of World War I.

While there, she will take part in the Paris Conference on Libya, a diplomatic effort aimed at encouraging peaceful elections that could stem the tide of illegal migrants escaping the civil war-torn country for Europe.

Harris will voice “a deep concern for human rights and the situation of migrants and refugees, and reinforce the imperative of protecting vulnerable people, including those fleeing conflict,” a senior administration official said last week.

The vice president has come under fire for her ineffective performance as President Biden’s point person on the migrant crisis at the US-Mexico border, which has worsened on her watch.

Her European assignment also includes a one-on-one meeting with Macron, where she will continue the Biden administration’s fence-mending efforts in the wake of a bitter diplomatic rift over the AUKUS submarine deal with Australia.

Biden sheepishly told Macron last week he had been “clumsy” in blindsiding France with news of the pact, which left America’s oldest ally out of a military plan meant to counter China.
