Twitter members are spoofing by changing their Twitter handles and pretending to be other people... like Elon Musk. Oops... Hate tweets are again on the rise. Free speech? I have an old Samsung notebook running Windows 8 with 4g LTE wireless service. My plan was to take that with me on my vacation. After charging the battery, it worked for a few seconds then stopped working. Dead is a good description. Shopping for a replacement, I found another Samsung product that supports 5G. Unfortunately, none of the stores within 50 miles have stock. I can get it directly from T- Mobile but they cannot guarantee next day shipping in time, so I'm having it sent to my brother's house and I'll set it up to work there.

I've never lost my car in a parking lot... with the exception of it being towed once. So... it technically, it wasn't lost. I parked in a plaza and walked across the street to meet a client who was moving to a high-rise on Miami Beach. The plan was to go to lunch in one of the restaurants at the plaza. On my return my car was gone. I'm told the vendors get a commission when they turn people in as they use the free parking to avoid paying for valet parking.
It was business and my boss reimbursed me. He came to drive me to the yard where towed vehicles are held as hostage. Explaining them the situation of meeting someone to return to eat did no good. It was $100 to get my car back. Bastards...

Auri Katariina, 29, quit her job as a service manager at a cleaning company in the summer of 2021, to pursue her passion of cleaning other people's homes for free. Auri, who says she is in "heaven" when she cleans, and visits people from all over the world to assist them clean their filthy or cluttered homes.



Huh? The smell of the chemical fumes and the sight of all that muck, would make me puke for sure. Ewww!

I've been watching this storm shortly after Hurricane Fiona formed. The early predictions and trajectory from the National Hurricane Center all appear to be correct.
Tropical storm Ian will pass to the East of Jamaica on Sunday, cross over the Cayman Islands early Monday as it intensifies to Hurricane strength, strike the Eastern coast of Cuba, strengthen when it reaches the Gulf of Mexico, then hit the West coast of Florida centered around the Tampa area Wednesday.

Florida's sun coast residents, you've got plenty of warning... prepare and don't panic. I've heard reports of long gas lines already.

Good Lord, how many times do we all have to hear about "if you had lived in Camp Lejeune between 1953 to 1988, you may be eligible for toxic water claims to receive compensation in a lawsuit."?!

Believe it or not, I was actually born there back in 1967. My dad was a Marine and was stationed there so I fit right into the time frame. However, I have no health problems as of yet from the toxic water. It says that health problems may develop later in life. Stay tuned!

Here in the USA, we have Thanksgiving coming up soon, though most from across the globe already know this. ..definitely a feast will be had with family and friends. Some holidays here, though may be familiarized
elsewhere as well, actually pertain to our own country's history, such as Thanksgiving (and yes, I'm aware there are two sides to this coin), Fourth of July/Independence Day, (and not so popular elsewhere...Memorial Day, President's Day,) and so on...Just curious, though, ....and I know this can simply be googled, but I think it's more enjoyable to hear it from others, along with their own family traditions....but maybe some can enlighten me to holidays that are celebrated in other countries that wouldn't necessarily be celebrated in other parts of the world. ...and what can ya tell me about the holiday....how it's celebrated...what it originates from...etc. I'm simple and love to learn about stuff like this

Just got through watching Bruce Caitlyn Jenner on Greg Gutfield on Fox News. He/she looks like a woman, but Caitlyn's voice still doesn't quite match a woman's.

I don't think Caitlyn likes men, I still think he/she prefers women, or am I wrong?

And if that's the case, why want to look like a woman?
