Remember in 2000 .......

When Putin came to power? Just a year later 9-11 had the U.S. In shock. China was utterly silent about it. Putin actually came to the U.S.
"Putin's pro-American plan was not simply tactical. Putin's policies of support after September 11, including his agreement to an American military presence in Central Asia, represented a significant shift in Russian foreign policy. The potential for breakthrough - for a fundamentally new and improved relationship between Russia and the West - has never been greater"

"One notable moment in the Putin charm campaign came in November 2001 in rural Crawford, Texas, a tiny town in the center of the state with a population back then of 705 residents. Count President George W. Bush among them. He owned a ranch just outside of town — he'd named the property Prairie Chapel — and he and first lady Laura Bush had invited the Russian leader and his wife Lyudmila to spend the night.

There was work for the two leaders — recall that this was just two months after the terror attacks of 9/11 — with discussion of global threats and how the United States and Russia could work together to fight terrorism". rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

George Bush " I looked in his eyes and I could tell he was a good man!" rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

Six years later the new, improved Putin had this to say about the our financial crisis and near collapse.
"The world will never trust the U.S. again."

Burial at sea...

There once was a famous huge floating restaurant in the Hong Kong harbor. It was 260 feet long and had been there over 40 years serving Cantonese cuisine to more than 3 million guests.
I'm unsure if it's technically a boat or barge, but it was closed in 2020 due to the pandemic and the company laid off all their staff. This became a financial burden to the owners/shareholders, although it was closed, they were spending millions on maintenance and inspections. They decided to have it towed to a new lower-cost location. Prior to the departure, the vessel had been thoroughly inspected by marine engineers and all relevant approvals were obtained.
On it's way to the new location the restaurant encountered 'adverse conditions' and water entered the vessel making it tip. Unable to right-side it, the restaurant capsized in the South China Sea at a depth of over 1,000 meters (3,300 feet) making salvage works very difficult to carry out.

My thought... was this 'Burial at sea' really planned as a financial write off?

Puppet Trump scheme uncovered

WASHINGTON, June 19 (Reuters) - The U.S. House panel investigating the January 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol will present evidence this week that former President Donald Trump was involved in a failed bid to submit slates of fake electors to overturn the 2020 election, a key lawmaker said on Sunday.

"We will show evidence of the president's involvement in this scheme," Democratic Congressman Adam Schiff, a member of the House of Representatives Select Committee, said on CNN's "State of the Union

Roe v Wade reversal

A decision on Roe v Wade may arrive today. If Roe v Wade is reversed, it will be then up to each State to legislate as it so wishes. In theory that could mean anything from an outright ban on abortion, to allowing abortion up to the point of birth - although in most cases something like a ban after 3 months is most likely.

I read that the Jan 6 hearing for today was postponed. They said something about needing more time to edit videos, but I think this Supreme Court decision - if it does come down today - is the real reason why.

A man who went with the stated intent of killing Supreme Court justice Brett Kavanaugh was caught and arrested near Kavanaugh's house last week, with a large stash of weapons on hand. The Biden department of justice has allowed protesters gather outside the houses of conservative justices, despite a federal statute forbidding this. There has also been multiple fire bombings of pro life pregnancy centers in recent weeks. These stories have been little reported by the majority of media. I don't believe President Biden has yet come out to condemn the would-be attempt on Kavanaugh (please correct me if I'm wrong).

Pray for peace.

A lawyer who has been barred...

I guess it's technically correct that a lawyer who has been barred by having their license suspended, is still a lawyer. If they are high-profile, I suppose they could hire a lawyer in good standing as a puppet and pull strings to get what they cannot legally do.

Rudolph W. Giuliani (pronounced Juliani) is in a pile of poo right now, suspended from practicing law because he made false claims trying to get courts to overturn Trump's loss. This happened last June.

The original story appeared in the Los Angeles Times and picked up on Yahoo Finance.
The top reader comment:
"What's really funny is Rudy believing Trump was actually going to pay him."
99 thumbs up and 1 thumbs down.
Response to the first reply:
"That thing about the definition of insanity. No one else got paid but Rudy thought he would."

I guess all those years of friendship and business together Rudy thought he wouldn't be like the others.

Down Go Democrats: Ex Philadelphia Rep. Sentenced to 3 years in Jail for Bribery and Ballot Stuffing

Former United States of America Congressman and Philadelphia’s political operative has just pleaded guilty to election fraud charges brought against him. United States Attorney Jennifer Arbittier Williams Announced today that former US Congression Michael “Ozzie” Myers, 79, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania pleaded guilty to conspiracy to deprive voters of civil rights, bribery, obstruction of justice, falsification of voting records, and conspiracy to illegally vote in a federal election.

As well as orchestrating schemes to fraudulently stuff the ballot boxes for specific democratic candidates in the 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018 Pennsylvania elections. A specific example is when Myers admitted in court to driving the judge of elections in South Philadelphia, Dominick J. Demuro, and a fraudulent scheme over several years.

Judge Dominic Demuro, who was charged separately from Judge Myers also had pleaded guilty, would certify fraudulent voting machine receipts as valid after adding fake votes for various candidates for Democrats as well who had hired Myers for so-called consultancy services in Pennsylvania.

Demuro had accepted multiple payments between $300 and $5,000 to pump up the votes for Democrat candidates running for various federal, state, and local elected offices, including multiple judicial positions.

Baby Brianna

Baby Brianna was born on Valentines day in 2002 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She died at the age of five-months and five days old, on July 19, 2002 at the hands of her mother Stephanie Lopez, her father ,Andy Walters, and her uncle ,Steven Lopez, due to severe child abuse.

Baby Brianna was horrifically abused almost from the instant she left the hospital after she was born until the day of her death. On a daily basis she was slapped, kicked, punched, thrown, and raped by her father, Andrew Walters, and Uncle, Steven Lopez. Her mother Stephanie Lopez, Stephanie’s parents, and other family members were aware of the horrific abuse Baby Brianna was enduring, but not one of them said or did anything about it. In fact, Stephanie’s mother would later testify that Stephanie would pinch and bite baby Brianna when she became frustrated with her crying and that she was aware that her infant Granddaughter was being beaten, raped, pinched, punched, bite, and thrown around but “didn’t want to get involved”.

July 18, 2002

On the night of July 18, 2002, Stephanie, Andy, and Steven began drinking. Stephanie claims that she only had a few beers before heading off to bed, leaving Andy and Steven in the living room, where they continued drinking. After Stephanie went for bed, Andy and Steven thought it would be funny to toss Brianna up in the air, let her hit the ceiling, and then watch her hit the ground. It is not known how long their sick game continued but the father admits to “throwing her up three to four times”. Both men told authorities that Brianna was screaming and wailing as the abuse continued. Stephanie claims she did not hear anything that evening. It was later discovered during police interrogations that Steven Lopez, admitted that

Patricia Lefranc:.......

Patricia Lefranc: Acid attack victim arrives to testify against married lover.

Incredible bravery of acid attack victim as she arrives to testify against married lover who scalded her when she dumped him.

He said: 'I moved with my wife and children to the building on Avenue Sippelberg in 2006. Patricia was already living there. She was a janitor. At first we just said hello, that's all.

Remes has apologised for the attack, denying that he meant to maim her. His defence is that he did not realise the sulphuric acid he sprayed would have such a devastating effect.

Remes told the court how he started his relationship with Lefranc, who was the janitor of their block of flats, in 2009.

Remes, 57, is said to have planned the sulphuric acid attack after Ms Lefranc ended their relationship.

Patricia Lefranc, 48, left disfigured after sulphuric acid attack.

The 48-year-old, who underwent 86 operations following the attack, added: 'I hope to convince the court that he did indeed want to murder me.'
