They tried to kill off this book with the new edition,,but there is something magical about the words in the "King James version",, to people like me who where force fed this at sunday school, you never forget the words..thanks for posting

It's weird, obscure... nothing like you expect, yet everything you expect; typical Clive Barker, you'll like this one.

at the end of the book she has biographies, the people she got her information from, wallace wattles, prentice mulford, charles haanel, robert collier, genevieve behrend, i looked these people up, put everything into practice everyday and i am bleeping happy.

A MASTER PIECE UNSURPASSED BY ANY BEFORE OR SINCE. IT CONTAINS SUCH DEPTH OF CULTURES, LEGENDS, AND LORE THAT IT WOULD BE EASY TO BELIEVE TOLKIEN WAS JUST RELATING HIS LIFE AND WORLD EXPERIENCES AS A NATIVE OF MIDDLE EARTH.

I read this many years ago, it is enticingly written... which makes it hard to put down.
Her writing enticed me enough that I looked for another title to read, and found 'Tim' just as good.

I haven't got 2 copies really... I did go back to HMV in an attempt to obtain a copy for a friend but of course they'd all gone... what a surprise!

This is truly a great book. I used to be a facilitator for this program at the place where I used to work. I have met Stephen Covey personally and have had several meals with him. Mr. Covey is a very enlighten person. It's interesting to know why he titled this book as being for Highly "Effective" People instead of Highly "Successful" People.
