That's how my cousin got caught. Then he tried to convince his wife that he was trying to find a girlfriend for me because I didn't have internet access at the time.

As I get older I find that I am looking more for a friendship that is a relationship. I still have puppy like urges, (Pardon my being blunt), but they come second. I'm also more willing to take time and build a relationship by putting more thought into the needs and wants of my partner than I used to. Not to say that I never did. I always try to be considerate, I just put more thought into it now. I think I'm on the right track and just need to find someone who does not live 2000 miles away.
Yes the distance is a bummer..
You really have to trust ur instincts on that..knowing if they are all for you..or just stringing one along..
My husband and i were over 1500 miles away from each other at first and its really hard you have to have trust/communication/ and all that..
but you have it right in ur mind..dont rush and study that person to the fullest

Nice to meet you/I am joanne
Pleasure to meet you as well.
I would absolutely relocate for the right woman. I have an education in electrical and mechanical systems and could get a job anywhere that a job was available. But she would have to be special and hopefully she would want me to be just as special.
MsBionics: I dunno.. I wanna know too tho. I met this guy and thought everything was great. We even met a couple times in person for dinner and what not. We talked almost everyday and he tells me I am the greatest thing that has ever happened to him in such a short time. Then suddenly he disappears for a week with no notice. Then the only thing I get after that is a message saying he wants me out of his life and never to speak to him again, ever. Is that how you treat the greatest thing that has ever happened to you? lol I know I wouldn't! haha ohwell.. dust off and toss the line back in the sea right?
My guess is that there was another woman in his life the whole time and he finally had to make a decision between the hand in the bird or the bird in the bush.
azdesperado72: I think it also depends on a few things. If you only got along online and never met, then he was looking for someone to play with and had a short interest span. If you actually met in person, sadly enough, he probably didn't sense the chemistry or attraction for real and rather then be a man and tell you he was no longer interested, he just disappeared.
All that and,
Some people flirt with several "potentials" at the same time, comparing all the parameters, looking for the "best deal".
They will inevitably end up dropping most of the ones they have been flirting with as they shorten their list.
Personally I think that method sucks because it wastes other people's time and hurts them.
Cause theyfeel guilty,it's easier this way...[/quote]
Another saying about the easy way out. . . just shows the world they have no foundation to stand on for them selves when they no longer want to take the easy way out. . .Most sad. . .
